I can really identify with the guy who says that the band has been with him through hard times. The music is like the sun coming up in my soul, especially in the vague anxiety album. There is a lot of sadness, but always a resolution where everything is going to be ok. I am grateful for this music!
Stay strong brother. Life always resolves itself with time, and we will always have our moments, they transform us into the person we're supposed to become, remember that. Much love.

They only ever play "Past and Language" from their best album "The Book About My Idle Plot On a Vague Anxiety". I went and saw them when they came to Portland, OR in 2017 and not one song from that album. They must not like it very much or it's difficult to play live? I can't understand it but past and Language seems to make the cut if nothing else. I listen to this album at least once a day and it just never gets old.

if i could see toe play live even just for once, I'd die the happiest man.
For me Toe is one of the best postrock band, melancholic & guitar-driven, with great emphasis on the drumming of Kashikura Takashi.
Drummer isn’t even in the room. He’s surfing 🏄 with the aliens 👽
Toe's bassist is just as godly as the rest of the band, wish he was bumped up in this mix.
One of my dreams is going to a Toe live in Japan, stand front row and cry my heart out :)

Toe is an amazing band. I scoured the internet for their vinyl and no luck. Love their work. Amazing artist
Their entire discography has been repressed on topshelf records I just ordered them!

This is one of the best and one of its kind band. I wish them to never lose this great art they have in their hands and continue to make us dream, feels, laugh and cry on those so very deep songs they succeed to deliver the world.

“C” came on shuffle one day while I was jogging. Immediately fell in love. The groove of this band is insane and like no other.
Hats off to the drummer. He keeps it very engaging.

As one of their Japanese fan, Toe is still not so much known in Japan. But don’t know it is good to be more big stage band or not for their style.
Anyway, I’m so glad to see they make everyone excited in out of Japan. Also l’m lucky I can see their performances in my country.

nope they play a Jazzmaster and a Tele Deluxe. And also the meteora came out way after 2012
love their music but the guitar tone here is a bit annoying tbh
