The Syndicate originated from the Whittier and Long Beach areas of LA county, CA. They formed in 1964 and released two singles, "My Baby's Barefoot/Love Will Take You Away" on Doré records and "She Haunts You/The Egyptian Thing" on Dot. Both were released in 1965.
