34:26 that somebody is called viego altho he does not fully take over a player to play on the other side he just takes over the champ he kills or gets an assist on and is that champion for some time untill the effect wears off or he ults out of it
I honestly didn't know the third cinematic, that one is totally new to me, and Ryze kinda resembles Liam Neeson, no? 🤔 And I can't help myself, all the cinematics don't only bring back memories, almost all of them literally make me cry. They're perfectly enacted, great story, great moments, great atmosphere, there's almost nothing bad you can say about them. The community begged Riot so long for it, and 2021, they made our wish come true with the release of Arcane. Or rather, a wish, as Arcane is just a small part of an alternative universe of the League-verse. @Drazu Empire you might even watch the Championships Cinematics. They're probably not as good, but not bad at all. It also feels like there are other cinematics missing...
This Electric Mage is called Ryze and could be the Thanos of league of legends bc he just collects "runes" and hides them from evil bc this things are more powerfull than infinity stones.
Having tried Smite as a League player I see the similarity but it’s so different at the same time. But if you think “go uninstall” is toxic you don’t know toxic 😂
When you said; "He's gotta be nice, when the tornado dude came", that is actually one of the most played champ by the toxic community if I remember correctly.
yo with that second last cinematic, the call, there's actually a one piece amv "the call" by dakari that is so good. one of my favourite one piece amvs. the only thing is it goes over the most recent battles in the anime so i don't know if you'd want to be spoiled. maybe when you catch up but it is just one of the best.
Well, 34:45 there is Viego who can take enemi dead champion and play him like normal without ultimate. And at top of that is Renata, her ultimate hit enemis and force them to atak allays units. So if u hit 3 enemis they just ataking eath other.
Seems he missed a few like Thresh in that tavern or when Viego got sealed and so on. Now I wonder does Smite have any new cinematics all I keep finding is the one where Belona and her crew fight that lava demon then they wreck Wukong and Thor .
The moba genre's evolution went thusly: Starcraft 1 player made custom maps spawned a popular one called Aeon of Strife. It had lanes of continuous creeps that you farmed to get stronger, buy stats, weapons, etc. and had to kill the enemy spawner. In warcraft 3, the custom map feature was also wildly popular. Several creators copied the format of AoS, but the one that started dominating because of how technically better and creative it was was Defense of the Ancients. The guy who was updating the map stopped doing so, and another guy took it up and really made sweeping changes to balance, designed new characters and really made it his. The player made custom map got so popular that e-sports leagues started popping up and people started taking notes. The original dota maker went on to make dota 2, partnered with Steam and the guy who made the map great went on to create League. A bunch of clones popped up and fizzled out-- heroes of newerth, bloodline origins. Significantly later came Smite.
I'd argue that Heroes of Newerth was a bit more than just a clone. It was really a direct successor to original Dota back at the time of release. It was Dota without the limitations of the Warcraft 3 engine, and I remember it being very popular back at it's peak. Eventually LoL started to shut it out due to having, imo, a bit of an easier learning curve and more streamlined gameplay/interfaces. Then eventually Dota 2 was made and that was pretty much the death warrant for Heroes of Newerth, as it was an official sequel and most of the people still playing HoN moved to that. Surprisingly HoN was still officially supported until June of last year though.
emotions during series movies games animes is such an epic trait to have it makes experiencing that media so much more intensiv! all who shame ppl for ripping tears for something that hit emotions for them iam sory you never got to enjoy media as we
28:05 these are all different locations, but roughly at the same point in time. the steampunk thing is Piltover/Zaun, the egyptian is probably Shurima and the nordic/ice is Freljord.
34:25 LMAO Little did he know, it's actually a champion & we have 3 of the stealing type of champion, Viego (the pale blue guy we see in this cinematic, Renata, Sylas whom we saw earlier the guy with the chains to his wrist)
So the scene where the big thing fell from the sky. That was galio. The girl who did that was lux. The guy with the chains is sylas and the guy he was fighting is Garen(Lux older brother). Sylas was imprisoned for being a mage or something which is illegal in that country. Rememeber Lux. Yeah shes a mage. He older brother Garen does not know. She she has to play the weak card. Acting like she isnt and all that. Funny story actually, she is the reason why sylas escaped his lock up. Guy help sme fill in the blanks here. Im not super into the lore so i only know bits and pieces
21:20 when he say's there's one missing those shiny rocks are called world runes and yeah there's one missing because Ryze(the Blue guy with a beard and also the one narrating in that cinematic) hasn't found it yet he knows the runes have too much power and has made it his mission to find the runes and hide them away from everyone else to protect the world the guy has been doing that since the darkin(corrupted ascended god warriors trapped inside their own weapons who then make anyone who touch the weapon get corrupted and used as a vessel for the imprisoned darkin this darkins can't trully die so when a vessel is killed or expires they simply get caged inside their own wepons again) war(this war in the lore has happened about 2 thousand years because the newest aspect of targon is 1 thousand years old and no one from her time even remembers the darkin) that made people resort to using the world runes for power so Ryze saw everything unfold and did nothing to stop it as he said in the cinematic he was too weak at the time because he read the scroll on his back a scroll that can turn people mad with power and corrupt their minds he was able to fight it but was weakned but what he saw in the scroll was what made him know and take it upon himself to search and hide the world runes. this is just a short summary one part of Ryze's story as he is an important character in the lore and has tons of connections to other pieces of lore, I play league and the story and the universe's it has are generally cool but the main one is great, even people who don't play normally think it's great and really captivating though not every champion has story like Ryze and there's one or 2 old champions that need a story and an update but most champions have a great story. ps if you want to read hte lore just look for a list of all champions then each champion has a story except Shaco( I think this one doesn't have a story or if it has is outdated and not cannonical anymore), probably Nocturne(the shadowy guy with two arm blades who said darkness ithat came out of the fog and started attacking Ryze in one of the earliest cinematics) doesn't have one as well.
fun fact Pantheon (the spartan looking dude) has a scar on his chest from when a darkin (corrupted demigod) stabbed him and killed the aspect (god like being) that was essentially possessing him because it deemed him not cool enough to be a co-pilot and now out of sheer man power (hehe) he can use the powers of the aspect sometimes
Viego - the character you thought was cold af and took over peoples minds? His passive allows him to turn into any character with every kill and passive kill (within 3 seconds). He is very fun to play. if you pop off you will end up beating the enemy team with their own champions. 😈😈
the one who dropped out of the sky in 31:09 is Galio a giant Petricite(this material is a stone/wood material harvested only from a mountain of that region called Demácia and the material absorbs magic and can also channel it that's why Lux the girl who cast light into the sky did that so the statue could awaken their lore is tied) Gargoyle statue the statue absorbs magic from anyone fighting near it and protects the kingdom( this kingdom is really against magic the cinematic is for show because in the lore Lux can't openly cast like that since she is from a noble family and it would be seen as treason from the people of the country but many nobles have magic and hide it if you read the stories and the champion Sylas(in game voice lines also mention that and call the nobles hypocrites, Sylas is that guy in chains also made with petricite who makes a sword out of light earlier in the cinematic after knocking down Garen the heavy armored guy with the big sword who happens to be Lux's brother) anyway Sylas is a powerfull mage although not as powerfull as Lux in the lore the petricite chains he has he learned that it can channel magic so he actaully is able to use them as a weapon instead of being suppressed by them like any other mage would be since he knows that by feeding magic to the petricite it can help channel the magic the sword of light he created is the light sword that Garen makes fall from the sky a few cinematics before while fighting the red haired girl named Katarina meaning Garen is able to use magic although he is too stupid to know it( meaning in the lore he could probably summon that light sword he just isn't smart enought to know that he even can so he has never casted it in the lore even though it's his ingame ultimate). this is basically soft ball lore here in this cinematic not everything is cannon but it show's the character's powers according to lore so yeah that giant gargoyle named Galio he can do damage to a mountain landing like that even without landing he could probably punch a hole into a mountain(this is just a small fact about the power).
You opened a very deep rabbit hole. The one thing Riot does better than anything else is lore. Every single champion (aside from about 10) of the 160ish champions you can play have whole storylines and backgrounds and hail from regions of the world of Runeterra that also are rich in lore and history. It's for these reasons that an MMO is in development. Too many appeared in these cinematic to explain, but the character you were asking about who "wields lightning" is actually wielding Arcane magic. He has a scroll with him that contains secrets of the World Runes, which are effectively so powerful that they could become apocalyptic if the wrong person got hold of them. Think Infinity Stones. He is their protector. And occasionally, he taps into a % of their power, but not often
in leagues, you will find the heroes, the villains, the victims, the bullies, the "i don't give a shit", the obsessed, the freak, the bystanders, the devil, the angel, the superstars, the rockstars, the idols and teemo shitting mush somewhere in between
34:26 yep her name is Renata Glasc and her ult makes whoever is engulfed in it enraged to where they attack their one teammates if there are any nearby
Annie isn't even close to the most toxic character, that spot is reserved for most adcs or mid laners. (7:50) That's also not an ult at 10:19, that's her 2nd ability if anything, which is a move speed increase. 17:14 these fights are replacements for war or arguments between nations. 18:16 that's Nasus, he hails from a land called Shurima which is based on egypt. He has a brother called Renekton who is essentially Sobek. Nasus came out on October 1, 2009. Anubis was released May 31, 2012. 22:24 Her name is Taliyah. 29:12 Her name is Kai'Sa, her suit is similar to Venom, and I doubt she's interested in much other than surviving. 34:29 Her name is Renata Glasc. The one you're watching right now is based on Viego, who can turn into your teammates, items and all, and start beating your ass.
The black guy from the climb cinematic that is extremely badass he's named Lucian and his job is literally to figt down hordes of those shadow mist ghouls these ghouls are undead and can only trully die from shots from his runic light weapons who have no triggers(the weapons are activated by the mind of the user this light weapons are special and purposely crafted to kill those undead things one of the weapons Lucian holds bellonged to Senna Lucian's wife before she was trapped/imprisoned inside Thresh's lantern the guy spining a weapon attached to a chain show right before the end of the cinematic "The Climb" this guy is undead and his specialty in the lore is torturing souls he imprisons inside the lantern, after Lucian saves Senna and she escapes from the lantern she gets a different sentinel weapon that can suppress the darkness that changed her inside the lantern helping her to control that darkness in form of a small mist but still can shoot light and also has no trigger just like any other sentinel wepon it can only be fired by the user willing it to fire with their mind). The job of the sentinels of light is to drive back the dark mist and kill any undead that comes out of it to protect the world from evil and darkness. The sentinels of light are also the current cannon forms of the champions who happen to have a "sentinel of light" skin from the event ruination that finally progressed the story line a bit more.

@Drazu Empire you might even watch the Championships Cinematics. They're probably not as good, but not bad at all. It also feels like there are other cinematics missing...
There are a lot of cinematics missing, and I'm right there with ya on how they bring back memories and make me cry. Glad I'm not the only one lol
22:23 Almost there!! you got the "-yah" part but it's not Gaia/Gaiya it's Taliyah
There is still cinematics to see, like skinlines, new champs, etc
That thing with horns is a forge god
When you said; "He's gotta be nice, when the tornado dude came", that is actually one of the most played champ by the toxic community if I remember correctly.
yo with that second last cinematic, the call, there's actually a one piece amv "the call" by dakari that is so good. one of my favourite one piece amvs. the only thing is it goes over the most recent battles in the anime so i don't know if you'd want to be spoiled. maybe when you catch up but it is just one of the best.
I like how someone that doesn't even play the game can tell what's broken out of cinematics only, and you are so right every time lol
Drazu : i carry you thru ranks...
me : oh my... he haven't tasted the elo hell of silvers and golds
now you just gotta watch the dante axe parody of these videos and your life will be complete
You reacted to WHAT
lmao there are a couple banger in here ngl
28:50 😂😂😂😂😂😂 I died man
There is a champion ult that makes you fight your own team for like 2 seconds xD
Well, 34:45 there is Viego who can take enemi dead champion and play him like normal without ultimate. And at top of that is Renata, her ultimate hit enemis and force them to atak allays units. So if u hit 3 enemis they just ataking eath other.
Smite
They didnt put senna/bel veth cinematic btw... but cool to see, the kaisa moment was funny xD
Seems he missed a few like Thresh in that tavern or when Viego got sealed and so on.
Now I wonder does Smite have any new cinematics all I keep finding is the one where Belona and her crew fight that lava demon then they wreck Wukong and Thor .
Gaia is actually a COLD ass name for Taliyah, her whole shi being earth bender mage n shit, Gaia just makes so much sense
34:34 yes there is a character when she ults the enemy team start to attak each other her name is Renata
Todos amamos a Kai'sa
34:40 oh that’s his passive. Yeah if he kills anyone he gets to turn into them.
emotions during series movies games animes is such an epic trait to have it makes experiencing that media so much more intensiv! all who shame ppl for ripping tears for something that hit emotions for them iam sory you never got to enjoy media as we
28:05 these are all different locations, but roughly at the same point in time.
the steampunk thing is Piltover/Zaun, the egyptian is probably Shurima and the nordic/ice is Freljord.
34:25 LMAO Little did he know, it's actually a champion & we have 3 of the stealing type of champion, Viego (the pale blue guy we see in this cinematic, Renata, Sylas whom we saw earlier the guy with the chains to his wrist)
Nasus (anubis) was realesed 3 years before smite got announced
"They rollin deep..."
163 characters, and more coming every year 😎
in leagues, you will find the heroes, the villains, the victims, the bullies, the "i don't give a shit", the obsessed, the freak, the bystanders, the devil, the angel, the superstars, the rockstars, the idols and teemo shitting mush somewhere in between
wait till he see the worlds music clips XD
That’s literally what his ultimate does 🤣
Its so sad that half of the cinematics are missing... But stil great reaction :D
bro i randomly landed here and you beat me, you are so fucking funny (sorry if something is wrong english is not my main language)
34:26 yep her name is Renata Glasc and her ult makes whoever is engulfed in it enraged to where they attack their one teammates if there are any nearby
Annie isn't even close to the most toxic character, that spot is reserved for most adcs or mid laners. (7:50)
That's also not an ult at 10:19, that's her 2nd ability if anything, which is a move speed increase.
Man u a really funny guy 😂
League came out in 2009 and smite came out 5 years later in 2014
You did a great job.
18:44 my guy League was released on 2009 and smite on 2015 😭
18:45 League came out in 2009, 5 years before smite.
Damm I was hoping that it wouldn't show the latest cinematic
