Some extras for interest. RX4 vin# starts LA22(12A) and LA23(13B) but 929 is LA2V. Series1 Rx4 was only sedan and 12A with Auto. Flat front and square gauge dash with tacho.(929 had clock) Series2 Rx4 first Coupes here and Sedans both introduced the 13B option / 12A was still available. Manuals and Pointy nose and Sports interior etc. The 929 coupes were considered sporty so they had the new sporty cockpit round gauge type dash like the Rx4 models. (929 Sedans kept the flat front and square gauge dash) S3 Rx4/929 late years saw this same new look front and rear end(sedan rear lights were like lines/rectangle and coupes got the square lights both new higher reverse lights) 929 sedan continued with basic dash-trim.
Pink panther was the shit back then. Being 13 and hearing this thing leave boganmobil and head to the diesels at McLean's was like secondrys for your night. Fucking wild nights, no cops, neons parked in the long grass and diesel soaked DC's in the morning

Ash, I've been looking up that 929 that Omar has that's rare? I know Omar called it a Lindow or something like that? But I think it's actually called the Mazda 929L or 929 Lagato. Putting in 929 L in the search will only show 929 Luce or Cosmo.......so it's near impossible to find unless you use that specific word in the search 👌

That was colloquially known as the Rolls Royce front Rx4 Old bloke used to get around here in a dead ringer to the unicorn. Could have bought it dirt cheap back in the day. Nobody wanted em they are so ugly…. And was too expensive and hard to convert a RR/shitback S3 Rx4 back into a real Rx4
