Great graphics for sure, but always wondered how much this level of graphics development contributes to the cost of a game. Would players rather pay significantly less for a game without the VERY low level details?
graphics have long since stopped to amaze me. Gameplay, and depth, etc. no longer matter. all anyone cares about are the damn graphics. If a game doesn't have good graphics today? It probably shouldn't even exist... I want a game that's got real detail. Lots of in depth play. Lots of things to do and interact with.. Sick of graphics being all that matters.
I would definitely have Stellar Blade higher on my list, visually it looks surprisingly really good.

If the 7th Gen was known as the "piss filter" era for its graphics. I wonder what the 9th generation will be known for its graphics 😂.
Unreal Engine 5 is the main culprit, unless the devs modify the engine to create their own distinctive looking games.
