I loved that in all the flashbacks John was helping Judy in the first bits and she then continue running, cycling and driving away from him, as John watches from where he's standing. It's symbolise how a parent teaches their child to take their first steps in life and then continue to watch them grow up and become independent, leaving the family to make a new family. And I love how as Judy goes away at some point she turns to look back at John each time. Like a child returning all the care that the parents gave them and knowing that their parents will always be there watching over them. It's beautiful.
Luv your comment! ❤ I'd like to add...how that amazing scene on the one hand depicts her riding away from the person that helped her while on the other hand she is running towards that very same person whom she's about to help! I love the way this scene was written!!
Sent this clip to my middle daughter because I know that this is exactly how she would react in a similar situation. While she is not my biological daughter, we couldn’t be closer. Congrats Lost In Space for showing the strength of a family’s love.
I love this scene. I lost my dad to cancer 3 years ago, he died 4 months after being diagnosed, he said he's proud to have raised a strong daughter. I miss him everyday 😭
That is awful, I don’t know what to say since it such a sensitive, painful thing to go through but I hope you are doing okay, I bet ur dad would be extremely proud and it is very depressing to lose someone close to you but as they say ‘it is better to of loved and lost then never to love at all’ and...................just hang in there cos life has its ups and downs but everyone gets to the top at some point, don’t they?
Me and my parents watched this episode together, and I was trying so hard not to cry in front of them.😭😭😣 It is such a beautiful scene, and I love it so much!!
Didn't expect this show to trigger any emotions in me - not the way this scene did - it really made me cry...it was a powerful scene even inspirational...
This scene hits really hard because it does something completely different. Instead of the usual "please don't give up I love you" Judy hits John with the hard truth. If he dies their family will fall apart and John knows that if he gives up now she'll never forgive him for that so he'll continue to fight with everything he's got.
Lol, reading the other comments and People are crying n that from the scene. I came here because she's an brilliant actress. That level of performance was crazy.
@@soletmegetthisstraight2099 Actually, I had to record it and submit and only a couple of classmates saw it (due to Covid) but you're right. I don't know what made think that I should attempt this scene 🤣😭 Taylor Russell & Toby Stephens was amazing in this scene. 🤍
@@Msindiaisthebest np! Acting is difficult, and I've been in my fair share of cringy short films 😅 we don't talk about those. This is a really tough scene to do, and just the fact you chose it alone earns some respect
I watch all 3 seasons of this show and i'm very bias about it, heck they did not have the B9 robot doctor smith was a female their was no space pod no lazers no cyclops no frezing tubes in the jupiter 2 the cheriot could not even go in the water without sinking and to top it all off debby was a chicken what a mockery of a classic scifi show.
This scene really made me cry, their father and daughter relationship it’s so beautiful! it makes me think of my dad, he’s always been there for me ❤️
Cherish him

Agreed, I'm a lot like him and he's so strong, relatable, LOVING and always engaged in my life

Phew this scene really hit hard....especially when she said "I will hate you for taking another father away from me..." can't wait for the new season
A beautiful scene about the love of a child for her father.

ONE OF THE BEST SCENES EVER. I "tried" re-enacting this scene in one of my classes. Will never forget this show and this scene out of many.
Dang, you're brave to do that in front of your class

Here i am teared up again :(

This is everything I wish I’d said to my dad. Should’ve said. Every. Damn. Word.

Sorry but Im sticking with the ORIGINAL Judy...........make your own series anew...Judy will always be Marta Kristen, a gorgeous emotional blonde.
Why’d they cast an African American woman when she was a blonde in the original show and why did they make dr Smith a woman
Because why not?
Shut up!!!!
Shes fantastic in this series, so who gives a fuck what the colour of her skin is, she was the best person for the role so she got it.
U are condemned. Because of your wicked heart, u will go no further in character or life.
The original was made in 1965 who gives af, this is 10x better
