As someone who started dating someone 7 years older than me when I was 19, it's really upsetting seeing so many people talk about Don/Judy being "creepy". My partner and I have been together for years now and we're perfectly happy!
I totally agree. I genuinely feel like not putting them together, or at least implying that they would be a couple in the future, was a mistake. The groundwork was already there, they just needed to take it that step further. *sigh* just add it to the pile of ships I have that will never be canon 😭😪

If they were afraid of the pearlclutchers screaming about it (which, imo, they can get bent) then even something as small as sitting them next to each other in the last scene or even sharing A Look would've been enough. But they just... Wasted it all. Everything they setup in S1. And it felt really bad. :(
By the time S3 came around, from a physical standpoint, Judy looked VERY mature and viewers could see a HUGE difference from S1. Her character started off as 18 in the show. By S2, she was 19 going on 20. By S3, she would've been around 21 because I believe with COVID they did a 1 year gap in the show as well. I can't remember exactly. All in all, it might just be me but I thought Ignacio looked even younger final season. So really, there wasn't anything wrong with this pairing. They got our hopes back in S1 only to do this. Hell, a confession from one with the other admitting the same and then them going in for a kiss, only for Will or someone to interrupt would've sufficed. That alone would've sealed the bloody deal. Sighs.
