I’ve tried all (3) fluid sizes & for me, the 1.3 seems to be what works for me , the 1.2 seems to choke the material considerably & the 1.4 seems to put too much material out than what I’m used to spraying. The 1.3 seems to be just right, the happy spot!!
I have been using the gti pro lite T110 1.2 for the last 2 years and finaly picked up a DV1 Clear C2 1.2 and I have to say I like the pro lite more just a bit too much orange peel for me as I'm doing mostly restoration work. I ordered a C1 cap but yet to try I reckon the C2 cap and B+ cap are the same caps and they are very similar to the TE20 air cap as well from the pro lite.
Awesome bro! I came to the same conclusion with ppg clears. Ive only ran 1.2s for the last 4 or 5 months now. You can definitely make it work with other tips and guns but it's what really works best I think. And yeah Bryan is all over the map now days in the UA-cam world 😂
Love the dv1 for clear coating we use Ppg clear at the bodyshop as you know and that stuff is like syrup as it has the highest uv properties init for the tractor parts .but as you say knowing your products helps .thanks for sharing k man 👍
Hey brother what PPG clear did you use? You used a slow reducer ... that was probably the kicker right there when using the 1.2 plus you know the characteristics of your clear. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and setup for your DV1 Kandy Man, it's interesting how different people like different setups for their guns, I like the 1.3 with the C1 cap as it gives a really flat finish for the clear I use which is the Kapci 6030 HS and 6050 UHS👌🙏👍John UK.

I use the 1.2 in my dv1 clear gun. Using spies clear 8180 8600. Works good little slow but I don’t mind

I really like the 4600 fast gun great for bigger jobs just shot a over all with it came out great
I have same gun and tried the 1.2 it was very slow compared to the 1.3 but are clear is 2:1-10%
I was surprised when I sprayed it. It didn't seem slow .but I did use the slowest reducer. Thanks for the support

Have you tried the DV1 with C1 cap? Heard it atomizes more than C2

This is all I use . But yes it will work with any hs clear reducer is 🔑 with the 1.2
