Waterbury is the man! Turned 41 and started working out again and found my Waterbury books and reread and used it. I did it mostly to keep the body in shape because I'm a tradesman, but I'm getting huge and ripped. I am using elite physique which I bought when I restarted training. Good book, good training and way more fun than the bro splits and long hours in the gym.
Great talk, I'll give it a try. A bit similar to the nucleus overload method, actually a variation of it. But it's more simplistic which is a value and the emphasis on easiness on the joints is crucial. My personal take is that resistance band excercises are ideal in this respect. I'd add also some mechanical advantage dropset inside that set. Ben Pakulski's nos-x set is also similar but that is included in the normal workout and contains loaded stretching in a pump-style dropset.
I've watched another video by chad and it is completely contradictory to this video - and that video is from 5 years ago but he says training to failure was wrong. Does anyone know when this podcast was aired?

Love the new book Chad! I've been using the same principles and techniques with myself and my clients for more than 13 years. They work!
I’ve been doing the three workouts a week probably since 2004 or so because of Chadwaterbury
