Maybe some bonehealing excercises?(sorry Idk that much about physical therapy) I love your videos, you guys provided so much helpful information and even demonstrate it so well its unreal. Keep up the good work guys! It's very much life changing, thank you so very much.
I am 55+yrs old. Knee replacement done in 2018 almost 5yrs. For the last 3/4months i sm hvg Back pain and Rightbleg side Pain itis Shifting from front leg to knee and Shin Muscle. Pls show me exercise and helpful guidance to me
Hey guys! Thank you for your videos! They are helping with my plantar fasciitis! Hey I think it would be good for me to strengthen my calves as well as stretch them. Can I do the exercises in this video if I have plantar fasciitis? Thank you!
Dr. Berg on UA-cam mentioned that zinc powers the soleus muscle-a weird little piece of information that goes unmentioned. I have weak calves due to mild CP and surgery as a child. I took 30 mg of zinc with 2mg of copper (you are supposed to take copper with zinc to prevent problems) and literally the next day, I could go up on my toes like never before. It’s been a few weeks and I haven’t experienced anything so dramatic, but the dreaded calf raises are almost a pleasure to do now, so my calves have to be getting stronger. I switched to Nature Made vitamins that have 15 mg zinc/2 mg copper. I had been taking Centrum for years, which has only 8 mg zinc and less than 1 mg of copper. Another thing is that Vitamin C has been medically proven to heal tendons and ligaments, so I just started taking 500 mg of C. Hope this helps someone because there are a lot of people on here with weak calves. Thank you Bob and Brad!
Hi. I have a bulging disk at L4/L5 for 9 months now with terrible sciatica which is helped somewhat with Diclofenac and Paracetamol. My calves are just wasting away because I am unable to walk for more than a couple of minutes without needing to sit for a while before I can continue. Are these excercises suitable me to rebuild my calves or should I be doing something else? Thanks and keep up the great work!
Didn't really take into account the different impact of thr seated and standing calf raise. Thank you for the information, gentlemen! Gonna do the standing raises in the Smith machine because the calf machine does some painful stuff to my shoulders.
happy new year guys. So for five years straight i have been in the house mostly taking care of moms and all i do is si or lay down. Went to therapy they said my legs are weak. Caught covid last year christmas legs got worse that i could not stand. went to rehab and they help me get my strength to stand and walk but i cant run jump or do calf raises . can you help me out
I don't have muscle control at all. How to regain the control of the same post stroke. I'm left side paralyzed. Now walking slowly. Can't bend my legs backwards, and can't shake my ankle & leg fingers. It's all totally in out of control. Please reply. Thank you.
I have a question.I have adult onset Tay-Sachs.I have previously broke my right tibia fibula 2 separate times.I also bent my left leg in a 10 degree angle and broke both my feet trying to catch myself. Now both my calf muscles are severely atrophied and my thigh muscle s are very weak.Whats an exercise I can do safely so I can build up my leg muscles? I wear a leg brace on each knee as the muscles are so weak the joints just give out.I go back and forth between a walker and wheelchair as sue to the muscle atrophy my right knee pops in and out of place and it throws off my balance
Can you please do a video on how to treat nausea that comes with or without back of the scull pain due to C5-C6 herniated neck disk. Is it possible to get rid of this symptom if its getting better and less intense for the past 6 month?
New subscriber and Kinesiology - exercise science/rehabilitation senior at CSUS! Question, what kind of internships did you guys do to help build experience? Experience is my number one concern and I have such a hard time find any places around me that will accept me as a blank slate. Thank you guys so much for your videos!

I have Metatarsalgia so Im trying to find calf strengthening exercises without using the ball of my foot, or bending the ball of the foot, or add pressure
A late reply, but doing the one with the band, if you loop it around your arch/heel area it should still work. You'll probably have to increase the tension of the band though and hold it really tight.
when I retired I dont use my calf muscles much and have developed night cramps in my legs they bring me right up out of bed I get them several times a night what is wrong?
Yet another video that is literally only calf raises. A calf raise while holding a weight or standing on a slant is not a new exercise. Is there any other exercise that can help calves? I am physically unable to do this motion to do a calf raise.
Stand on a little three-step wooden stepladder while holding on to a windowsill, wall, or chair. Stand on the bottom rung with your heel over the edge. Straighten your leg and push your heel down a little so your gastrocnemius muscle stretches for about 10 seconds. While you are stretching, try to do a heel raise. You may not be able to lift yourself, but you can feel the muscles in your foot trying to work. After 10 seconds of a nice stretch, bend the knee and now you will feel the stretch in the soleus muscle. Same thing. When you’re tired, do the other foot. Hope that helps!
Hot calves lol 'please' do not embody fear and resort to sensationalism - I feel you'll know what I mean, your work is perfect as is and remember the tale of the Hare and the Tortoise - blessings and thank you both for all you do!

Yes I second this request!
Agreed
On your barbell suggestion, just set a 45lb plate on your knees. Good video.

Thanks …
may I enquire what flooring you have laid down as you can drag furniture across it????

You're going to have a hard time finding a job. Those degrees are useless!
My calves are so weak after injuries and surgery to my peroneus tendons that I can’t even go up on my toes anymore. What can I do to start out?
