New Brake Pad & Rotor Kit from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ib/1ABFS01584
Brake pads wear out over time, much like tires, and need replacing, on average, every 50,000 miles, with variations depending on driving habits and environment. Brake rotors may also need to be replaced if they are warped or grooved. Often, it’s safer and more cost effective to replace pads and rotors at the same time. Squealing or grinding noises, or wheel vibration are all symptoms of worn brakes. This video shows you how to install new, quality TRQ brake pads and rotors on your 2014-2016 Toyota Corolla.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
    2014 Toyota Corolla
    2015 Toyota Corolla
    2016 Toyota Corolla
    2017 Toyota Corolla
    2018 Toyota Corolla

You obviously don't need to remove the caliper bracket if you're just replacing the pads right?

How can I verify a mech actually did all of this besides just driving and waiting to hear the squeaking from the brakes?

I loved your clarity and cadence. I'll be back. Only thing you didn't mention was what you used to clean the caliper guide pin holes with. I didn't think it was brake cleaner because I thought that would damage the rubber seals. What DO you use for that?

Replaced brakes and rotors on a 2015 corolla and I have brake shaking when applying brakes. Lubed everything up right and I am stumped as what it could be. Didn't know that there was an inner and outer pad for this car. Is it possible that mixing them up would be my issue? I did these brakes at night and the pads looked alike.

How do you know if rotor is bad

I wish these videos were done for worst case scenarios where everything that could be rusted and absolutely jammed and stuck and busted was dealt with. Makes it look like a little nudge with a prybar will pull the calipers apart? Or that the pads aren't basically long welded in? Hah. Broke a prybar on those suckers.
