I used to use Paula’s Choice back in the day, then of course I veered toward tons of “high end” products that I saw influencers use or in magazines. (Most did absolutely nothing for me) When you mentioned the niacinamide I had to buy it. It will forever be a part of my rotation now. I also have and use the bha toner and their boost collagen serum. Very happy with all of those.
I just bought the Paula’s Choice BHA 2% from your recommendation. I don’t know where it’ll fit on my routine though. Do you use tretinoin? If so, do you use the PC BHA along with it? Or should they be used separately? Do I apply moisturizer after applying it on the skin? I even watched your morning and evening skincare routine that was posted about 5 months ago, but this product wasn’t featured then. Appreciate any input you may have!!
Don't use multiple actives on the same day. It could cause irritation. Just use on different days. Tret one day, BHA on another. I apply moisturizer after the BHA. Just be careful about combining too many actives at any given time. Especially if you are sensitive. I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
As a combination skin type who uses tretinoin nightly, I've found Paula's Choice moisturizers are my favorites, especially their dry skin moisturizers. They make a difference very quickly. I especially love the Resist Intensive Repair Cream.
you introduced me to Paula's choice a few years ago and I've been a fan ever since. My favorite products are the niacinamide serum, the 2% BHA and the Azelaic acid booster. I'm going to try their new vitamin C product soon.
Vitamin C booster is an OG for me, but honestly it usually oxidizes before I can use the whole bottle, which makes it less cost-effective, unfortunately 😢 That said, Peptide booster has become my OBSESSION! My skin loooooves peptides. The Drunk Elephant Protini peptide cream is a similar holy grail!! 😍😍😍
I still deal with stubborn blackheads on my nose and I’m just past 50 😕. The Paula’s Choice BHA works but like Mel said, be consistent. The 2% liquid is great, I use it at night and when consistent, my nose is clear within a week. I just get lazy and then stop using it and they come back.
Yes, the consistency is the worst part lol. You have to keep up with it. With skincare, I cannot get lazy. My skin really wants to revert quite quickly when I get lazy or don't use everything I know I should in my routine. Sucks but it does show that it works.

I started using Paula’s choice after watching you years ago. I love the tinted sunscreen as I have never broken out from it. Cheers to you. ❤️
Thanks for sharing!! That honestly makes me so happy to hear! They have amazing products but their sunscreens are especially wonderful!

Paula's Choice Resist Super-Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 beloved status. It gives me that extra bit of confidence to face the day!
It's an incredible product! I hope they never stop making it!
Love you, Mel ❤ thanks for always giving the best skincare recommendations
