@@DecadesDiner Thanks. I suddenly got very busy as buying the 2023 Monkey 125 was unexpected. I filmed most of the accessory installs for it yesterday, and today, I will be finishing the initial installs on it, installing the rear rack on it, and the aluminum top case that was on the Navi. I will start eiditing the install video tonight. Then, yesterday, Honda Powersports USA announced the 2023 Trail 125, and so there is some urgency to film the unboxing of the final four EOM accessories for it, so I will do that once I finish the editing of the Monkey installs. Then, I put in dibs for two 2023 green Trail 125s, so when they come in, I will be very busy. LOL

David, Thanks for watching and your comment, much appreciated. I saw your comment later where you found the video I made installing a Monkey Motion J rack on the Navi. no worries. It was a fair about of work to fit it on the Navi, and so far, I have never been able to buy a "Sari Step". Motion J is based in Chiang Mai, Thailand, and they don't have access to a Navi, so I don't think we will ever see a Motion J rack built specifically for a Navi. I think the Sari Step bracket would be a good starting place for a rear side rack. Motion J also just came out with a rear side rack for the Super Cub 125, and I have a pair on order.

My favorite aspect of the Honda NAVI is the ease involved with working on the bike, which is why your videos are so appealing. I've really been enjoying mine out here in CA, but CA requires gas stations to use spring-engaged nozzles for pumping fuel. The nozzle has to be pushed all the way down into the tank before the pump will turn on to pump fuel (CA EPA laws?!?!). My NAVI, and I presume all NAVIs sold in CA, has a steel bar welded across the inside opening to the gas tank, which blocks access for the CA nozzles. I have to fuel up using a gas can in my garage, which is not a big deal really except for dragging a 5-gallon gas back and forth from the gas station. I would be interested to hear how other CA-based VG followers have managed this problem which seems to be exclusive to California. I think you most likely will have to buy it from one of the sellers on eBay. I like beezdeals, and spent a day with the owner on my last trip to Thailand. I run the side tank for a different reason, but somewhat similar to yours. I like to run non-eth gasoline in all of my small engines, and the Navi has a range of about 80 miles or so. Non-eth stations are sometimes a bit difficult to find, yet I have one right near my house. In a pinch, I'll run any gasoline that will get me home, but with the side tank, I have pretty much double the range and just fill up when I get home. On Tuesday of this week, I mounted the aluminum box from the Navi on my new 2023 Honda Monkey 125, and am editing the for that work today and tonight. If all goes well, I hope to put it on UA-cam tonight or tomorrow. I am doing well, but getting deafer by the day. Honda USA finally announced that we will be getting the 2023 CT125, this time in green color, so I have put in requests for a pair of them. That should keep me busy through the summer.

I just received the Kitaco rear rack for the Monkey yesterday and haven't yet unboxed it. I was trying to decide whether to reinforce another Gcraft rack, or try the Kitaco. The Kitaco looks stronger than the Gcraft rack, but not as strong as the T-Rex. Unfortunately there are no real mounting points on the Monkey other than the top shock mounting bolt, and the rack really is kind of cantilevered out to the rear and any weight on it has a leverage advantage over the rack.
@@Vintage_Garage Vaughn, yeah the rack is definitely for the Monkey, I originally fitted a Takegawa Rear Carrier, but it was tiny, and I had to make a mounting plate for a soft bag I had. I’ll report back when I’ve fitted it.

I found the Gcraft Monkey rear rack to also be too small for the job, and the aluminum vertical rails on it to be inadequate, so I had to strengthen it and extend it with steel. The Kitaco rack looks to have steel triangulation that may help. The Kitaco rack is still sitting next to me in it's box, so I haven't actually seen it yet. I plan to unbox and install it in an upcoming video when the Derazer headlight cover, barkbusters, chrome front tailpipe cover, Gcraft rear spools and Kitaco seat bolts arrive from Thailand. Those six parts have made it from Thailand to the DHL distribution point in Orlando, so I should see them on Monday or Tuesday of this coming week. This is what the Kitaco rack looks like, not as beefy as the T-Rex, but it looks stronger and longer than the Gcraft rack: japan.webike.net/products/24464687.html It comes in silver coating or black paint, and I got the silver coating one, as I think silver coating means chrome plating, and the Monkey has a lot of chrome like the Super Cub.
TotemoGaijin, Thanks for your comment and question. It re-enforces what most people say about my videos.. too old and slow to watch without skipping ahead. You skipped the part at 6:17 where I give the details on the paint. The paint was Krylon Fusion All-in-one Gloss "Hunter Green" Paint+Primer. With the Viper Urban Graphics on the Navi, there is actually very little of the Navi Ranger green showing, so it is a bit hard to tell how good the match is. The Viper Urban Graphics is sort of mostly a gray color, and when I tried to reproduce it for the wrap material, it seemed like my graphics was too gray, so I added some green tint to the wrap. As it turned out, I should have left it gray, as the wrap on the top case is much greener than the wrap on the Navi. That mismatch is so bad that it overshadows any mismatch between the Hunter Green Krylon and the Ranger Green Navi. My guess is that if you tried to repair a spot on a Ranger Green Navi with Hunter Green Krylon, you would be disappointed with the color match. Body panels are so cheap on the Navi, that you can replace a panel for almost the same cost as the Krylon paint.
