    Best use of used spark plugs.
    Hammer the gaps closed tie 2 or 3 together with monofilament and use them a sea fishing weights.
    I find this better option than tying about £10 of tackle on the end and casting with the knowledge that its proberly the last you'll see of it.

    Hey guys, you'all are quite creative in making stuff. But seems slike you need lessons in dismantling stuff. A microwave can be openned up with just a screwdriver. A sledgehammer is overkill. And you end up destroying some still useful parts. Just an observation .

    An 11 minute video on spark plug projects, 9 minutes of which have absolutely nothing to do with them. Spot welders are just the opposite using low voltage and high current versus a spark plug's high voltage low current. As for the rest, a 10" ceramic sharpening rod from wal-mart is 2 dollars and will provide more and better ceramic for any of these projects except possibly the drill bit scene... although for that a dedicated nutsert squeezed into a hole will give you far more thread strength and durability without having to use a thread tap. And I'm still trying to figure out why anyone would weld two nuts on the end of a spark plug and twist them off saying it's good for small welding. There is a welder already capable of welding thin or tiny parts called a tig welder. They can weld 2 razor blades together with precision. I don't see a spark plug doing that no matter what you do to it.

    Nice spot welding, patience, and precision work but the final product cannot produce that much current to weld like that. Furthermore, for those electrical engineer and future electricians out there esp in developing countries do not bust open a old microwave like this guy did because it has radioactive material inside of it that can cause radiation poisoning opened or tampered with by non professionals without the knowledge or PPE.

    • @GregoryKowalkowski
      @GregoryKowalkowski Рік тому

      There is no radioactive substances inside microwave further more "micro waves" are electro magnetic radio waves emitted by the megatron vacuum tube inside microvawe and have nothing to deal with radioactivity - that is alpha & beta particles emission from isotopes decay

      Just don't obliterate the magnetron. It's only POSSIBLY in the insulators, and they would need to break to release toxic dust.
      It would also need to have been manufactured over 50 years ago in order to be dangerous. The last 50 years of ceramic insulators on microwave magnetrons have not used beryllium.
