LIVING ALONE IN GHANA AS A WOMAN | UNFILTERED DAY IN GHANA COOKING GHANA FOOD AND GHANA MARKET
Lets cook Ghana palm nut soup and omotuo on this relaxed saturday in Ghana.
Palm nut soup is a popular Ghanaian food made from the palm fruit. along with any protein of choice. It can be eaten with rice, fufu or banku. In this video we will make omotuo which basically rice thats made mushy to have a sticky consistency.
I hope you enjoy spending my day with me in Ghana as we cook this popular Ghanaian food together.

My name is Jasmine and I have relocated from Sydney Australia to Ghana in west Africa as of the year 2020.
My parents are of Ghanaian descent and so am I although I was born in Australia. Here on my channel, my goal is to give you a real glimpse into what it’s like to live in Ghana and other parts of Africa, from the food, to the culture, to the lifestyle and everything in between. My goal is to satisfy your curiosity about Ghana and other African countries.
My prayer is that these videos do just that for several African’s in the diaspora.
Follow your bliss because life is short, follow your bliss because human life has no intrinsic value, follow your bliss because everything happens for the greater good and follow your bliss because it has all happened before.

Jasmine you definitely need a small pressure cooker especially in the African countries because most of they're meal surround allot of cow foot, goat meat and other meat mix together so it much quicker and save gas.

I love hearing you joke with each other, about different things!😂
I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, of California, USA. Because we often don’t have much rain, we have droughts. I was stressed out, with how much water you used, throughout the whole process. 😬 This year, we finally got a lot of rain, and rainstorms, so we don’t have to ration water, yet.
Anyway, one of my sons LOVES Palm Stew! He gets it often, from a local Liberian restaurant. I’m going to show him how much work is involved in creating this dish! Thanks for posting the video!
Also, I learned to peel ginger, by scraping it with a spoon. Sometimes that works faster, because you don’t have to worry about accidentally cutting yourself.

I’ve pretty much had to go carnivore and completely remove the carbohydrates but your food looks so good. 😭Animal products seem to be the only thing that doesn’t upset my gut and help me loose weight and relieve all the inflammation in my joints and entire body really.

Wow, I so love it when you do these kind of "domestic" videos. The market you showed could have been Makola in the 80ies when I was living in Accra. And it's pure masochism for me watching you preparing Ghanaian food. I would give everything for a simple Fufu (yes, the capital F is on purpose!) and groundnut stew or just some Banku... It's great to see Aisha again too!
