G'day Dawn. Looked like a great day. I grew up on a sheep farm. Goats were always 'bad news'.. Rouges. I spotted the sexy frogs..🐸 at the basket stall.🐸 We have our big Field Day on this week. We are going Thursday. Great video.. 🦘🌷🦘
@DawnRaeB G'day.. yes we had a great day thankyou. I found 2 frogs to buy.. A lovely sunny day.. sheep dog trials too. Those 🐑 sheep were getting rounded up.. Hope your well.. 🪷
Mrs Edge?! SO good to see you. I don't think I could ever learn to spin (the coordination in my hands is so bad) but those Goats and their fleece! I couldn't stop touching them. I had an amazing day and I'm glad you enjoyed going along.
A good friend of mine, Sarah, is a ridiculously talented fiber artist. I have been gifted a couple things over the years that are treasures. Good yarn from small artists is a nice find, but finding the community behind it is even nicer. I am delighted to see you had a nice day out!
Thank you Grumpy Grunt! I'm glad I got myself up and out to the show. It was an amazingly good time. And yes.. the community was super awesome. I really don't like to socialize and be out among people, but I kept thinking "these folks are as awesome as the knife community".
omg dawn lol , did you know that i can shear a sheep lol my grandpa was a "gun Shearer and one of my first jobs as a child was a rouseabout in a shearing shed lol
@@DawnRaeB it’s a sheep shed person who picks up the fleeces and rounds up the sheep for the shearer . In Layman‘s terms, it’s a slave 😆 😆 but bloody good coin $$$
I forgot to mention that I’ve got one of those woven baskets . Got it at a festival up here many moons ago We call them market baskets ❤❤❤ Mine would be over 15 years old and I’ve even taken it packed full of everything on the boat Great quality still looks brand new I paid a pretty penny for it but it’s still tip top I just got the natural colour with long stuff ish leather handles I’d love to get a multi coloured one with the shorter handle I should take a picture to show you It was definitely an investment that has paid it self off ❤
Got to love the natural fibers, dry or wet they will keep you warm. Lots of sheep, alpaca and goat farms here in this neck of the woods . Enjoyed 👍👍
Thank you Henry!! My BFF swears by natural fibers for warmth and dryness too. I just usually can't get past the itchiness.
This was very interesting Dawn! Thanks for sharing. Watched and enjoyed in full!
Thank you Pete! Have a great day!
The yarn does look good there☺
It was all fantastic. I'm a little nervous about trying to use such nice yarn for a project. Thanks for stopping by!
What a fabulous fair and experience! Learned a lot!

@allthatfluffnstuffQLDaustralia although... I don't know the word rouseabout. Haha. I'll have to look that up.
