I love these videos. I was actually happy that Hannah wanted to quit because I didn't want Emily or Brandon to go home. I forgot to mention this in the comments of the Big brother video that Russell's brother Willie hantz played on big brother. He quickly got expelled from the house though because he tried to start a fight with another houseguest.
@@TheMArtagnan she wasn't playing hard, she was playing dumb.. she was thinking perfectly fine but was saying it out loud to everyone to make herself the target. She put on a fake persona mid season which wasn't even entertaining but at least it took some of the heat off of her (don't blame her for that). The entire season was bad because the players didn't tell us a story, the entire story was about beware idols and people losing their vote.
Honestly, Brandon Hantz could have been decent if he didn't focus so much of his game on being not Russel. I know how much he talks about family and loyalty and shit like that but if he didn't craft his entire identity in the game around "Hantz" and instead tried to craft it around "Brandon", who knows how good he would have been
A part of me feels bad for Brandon he clearly needed time away from survivor, he obviously wasn't in the right head space and it wasn't pretty I hope he's genuinely a more mature person nowadays
Absolutely, I also dont think that Russell and his family gets enough flak for treating his nephew like absolute garbage? Like Brandon with all his faults (and we know where he gets it from) is more in touch with his emotions and communicating them than we gave him credit for.
What bothered me the most of Heroes vs Villains was Sandra going to the Heroes again and again trying to work with them, trying to get Russel out, and getting rebuffed again and again. She deserved the win for that alone.
...wouldn't it make more sense that Russell deserved to win then? Since the person who Sandra kept trying to get out but didn't ended up making the end? Why should Sandra deserve to win when she never could follow through? Sorry, but that logic never sat right with me; Russell outsmarted every single player on the season, but yet again the jury was too bitter to care.
@@Chimcharlover13 agreed but imo parvati deserved the win over Russell. The fact that Parvati was the biggest target all season, made huge plays and was popular with some of the jury. She played a very balanced game, Russell's problem is that he put himself in the line of fire and unfortunately the hero's tribe made majority of the jury who let's face it Russell completely bullied.
Russell Hantz actually was on another season of survivor; Australian Survivor: Champions vs. Contenders (season 5). He was the 1st person voted out on his team and the 2nd person voted out in the game. Spoilers: He went home with an idol that he was wearing at tribal.
that season was absolute garbage, there weren't any smart players. They knew that old lady had an idol, it was talked about the entire episode and they put all of their votes on that person instead of just putting 2 votes on emily to confirm the vote on either of them. The blind sides were weak and not much entertainment. The reason casting needs to be better is because it used to be about players telling the story, now its all about beware idols and if they can get their vote back..
Yup, “I’d rather watch Survivor from the comfort of my couch than play it.” Ugh, I was so upset at Hannah for quitting first episode and then Sean does it in episode 4 RIGHT after the tribe swap/recoupling! I’m not going to sound like a broken record (see other videos for the comment) because you know how I feel about Quitters and how the contestants who do waste the producer’s time getting them on the season. Or maybe it was another Survivor UA-camr where I ranted to about the whole quitters thing…)

Watching this season so far, it made me so upset that they quit on their own. How many people apply that actually want to be on the show and don’t get the opportunity.
The start to this season was really frustrating. Least satisfying tribals I can remember. The last few episodes have saved it for me, but I was really questioning it I would keep watching.
I heard Jeff Probst say that if anyone else quits they won't get their torches snuffed anymore. I personally think that if they quit for any other reason besides medical or family - like reasons used by Hannah and Sean - they shouldn't be allowed at the reunion. I really believe they shouldn't be allowed this honor. Sorry not sorry.

Brandon played a pretty good game in South APcific (Besides calling out Mikayla and giving up immunity obviously) He got himself in a solid alliance and if he had gone to the end with Coach and Albert like he had planned, he wins.
This channel is what got me into survivor, before I found this channel I’ve only seen Borneo, and game changers. Now I’ve seen up to Cook Islands and the new era.
Game changers was my first season too lmao and I’ve only seen the seasons later then that. The thing is I can’t remember what happens in any of the seasons except the one I’m currently watching (45) 💀 there’s so many of them 😭
Even though it is understandable to want to quit the show when you have to go through the struggles all the players have gone through. But, the thing that makes this frustrating is that these people auditioned for this, the people who audition for this really really want to and there are so many fans who would kill to be picked to be on the show. Then you have quitters who auditioned, got in, and then want to leave. Wanting to lose to go to tribal council, and wanting to be voted off, that’s pretty frustrating.
Yeah it was dumb but if he didn’t go out at that tribal, he would have gone out at the next one unless he won immunity. And even if he made it to final 2 somehow, the chance of him winning was almost 0%. People just assume he would have won if he hasn’t given up that necklace and that just isn’t the case. It’s possible that if Eric stayed that night, other things happen and Cirie somehow wins but we will never know.
Tyson overplayed himself out of the game in Heroes vs Villains. He was concerned about Rob having too many close connections and was aware that he had to take Rob out at some point in the game. He also assumed that Parvati and Danielle would put their votes on Russell to ensure their own safety. So when Russell told Tyson he was going to vote out Parvati, Tyson believed that the vote would be 5-4 with Russell going home over Parvati. Tyson tried to gain Russell as an ally by protecting him at that tribal to later take out Rob.
Looking back on it I'm glad Hannah quit because otherwise Emily would have been the first boot. Emily wouldn't have had an oppertunity to turn it around. It was great seeing her play. That being said, I hate quitters! Millions of people try to get on this show!
Kinda debating rewatching 45 now from the start, because I jumped in during the merge episode. Holy shit, would love to see Jeff go ballistic after those two episodes.
Am I the only one who half expected Brandon and Phillip to start sticking out their tongue's @each other saying, "I'm rubber you're glue, etc???" Or the time honored, tried and true " I know you are but what am I?"
It looked like Hannah just wanted a vacation - you get voted out first and you just get luxuries back and stay for the remainder of the game in an exotic location...
I’m still blown about Steph’s heel turn from underdog in Palau to backstabber/liar in Guatemala. I rewatched memorable juror speeches and Judd’s speech to her about how she lied to his wife about having his back only to vote him out and deny lying to his wife in front of him at final tribal.
Heroes vs. Villains was the best season of Survivor. There were amazing moves almost every week. Pavarti played 2 idols...on other people. Biggest bad-ass move ever.
thing is it was explained to him before the vote by Boston Rob..He owned up to his mistake but it was bigger than a "oversight" he got outplayed by Russell.
I honestly respected Hannah, she took power over her tribe when they wanted to keep her there knowing she wanted to leave while Emily wanted to play the game. Tribes mostly don’t respect people’s choices and she really told them if they didn’t do it she was walking with Emily that night, absolutely iconic. Saved my queen, got her nicotine, and successfully used her skills as a therapist to make me comfortably ecstatic watching her blackmail LuLu which lead to Emily decimating the tribe.
She left to give her tribe a better chance, she was a good physical player, but Lulu had no flint for 9 days, no water, no rice and nothing to eat.... there comes a point when one backs out to help her tribe mates
Tyson flipped his vote to Parvati because he wanted to be on the right side of the votes when Parvati would supposedly be voted out. It was honestly an epic play by Russel. Can’t hate on that.
Hannah and Sean really pissed me off. Weak weak people. People like that should be screened out. They had zero disposition to be there...and obviously just couldn't take it and wanted to stay at a resort. They don't "go home" when they quit (unless it's a medical situation).
I don’t understand how Brandon passed any kind of sight exams to get on the show. I am acting as if he was going to restore character telling the family name was ridiculous because Russell was a TV villain that doesn’t mean he was horrible in real life so I think Brandon made the family name of the worse
I think to be fair just because she's a therapist doesn't mean she is obligated to take responsibility for the mental state of everyone she meets. If anything, her using pro bono therapist tactics on her friends is inappropriate and creating a power dynamic/dependant relationship. And yes her job is to help people but she isn't working 24/7 and she shouldn't have to put her needs below everyone else because of her profession. She acknowledged that she couldn't physically take the reality of the show and frankly physical suffering and addiction withdrawal are very impactful to mental health. She saw that she wasn't up for the conditions and didn't wait until she hit rock bottom like most contestants.
I mean... Zane went all the way until he was voted off (even made a risky strategy to make sure of it, so he wouldn't outright quit), we had Shane, who only started to wanting to quit 3 days more than Hannah.
Brandon Hantz is someone I actually wish would be given another chance. His first one saw his religious beliefs be used to manipulate him in a way that got him voted out, and his second round was not long after the only person in his family to show up to the reunion began criticizing him in every possible way. Of course, Brandon probably wouldn’t be willing to return to the show since it’s only cause him pain thus far. Hell, cbs probably wouldn’t bring him back considering he was ejected the second time he played. It’s just sad to see this kind of thing happen, especially to the nephew of and essentially successor to someone who was well known on survivor in the first place
I think I'll need a full analysis of this Brendon Hands situation and what Jeff was thinking. Like. 19 years. That's still a very impressionable age, and if you go into something as big as survivor to play in a way that is nicer, just to get shot down and then come home and get criticised by your whole family, to the point where they don't even come see you at the reunion. And the only person that does come is your borderline abusive uncle, who knocks you down in front of an audience. Even Jeff looks like he regrets asking a little bit. The whole audience looks kinda awkward, as well as the other contestants. And then they leave him six months to deal with all that and his family, before he comes back. That breakdown was very predictable. What were they thinking? What was Jeff thinking? Did he then notice this boy needs to immediately get out. He was holding his shoulders like he was trying to calm him down. But then why let him come back at all? Doesn't survivor has trained therapists and a psych team around? Or are they all on Hannah's level?
Some might argue about Russell being the Michael Jordan of Survivor, but I'm sure we can all agree on one thing: Brett Clouser from Samoa is not Mike Tyson. He's Brett.
Someone else has probably said this, but Tyson's vote did make SOME sense, which is the only way Russell's move makes sense as well. Russell said he was voting Parvati and Tyson didn't want Parvati and Danielle to vote Russell and make it 5-4 Russell. Tyson wanted Parvati to go home and tried to make it 5-4 Parvati.
You/We can hate Russell all we want, but he did a lot, and brought on a whole new way of playing the game. I would like to believe that if America got to vote for who should win (like he suggested), people would have voted for Russell. The only reason why we say/think that his way was not good, is because he didn't win, but that's not due to a lack in his game (the way HIS WAY should be played), but people's reaction to it. And that doesn't take away to the monumental things he did.
Weird how the care we have about addiction is circumstantial. Who gets to be sympathetic and deserve help, and who's a bad person we should mock and harass? Interesting to see.
As Jeff Probst said afterwards - "And as difficult as it is, especially if you were in an alliance with Hannah, when someone is that dead set on quitting, I think the smart move is to let them quit and then adapt your game. Because it was very clear to me this was not a typical, "Oh, bamboo's really rough to sleep on." This was, "Yep, I made a bad decision and I'm going to course correct right now and go home." And the first call I made was to [casting director] Jesse Tanenbaum and Dr. Liza, our head psychologist, to say, "Add this into our data, because we got it wrong. We missed something with Hannah. She shouldn't have been on the show." Source - ew.com/tv/survivor-45-jeff-probst-premiere-player-exit-quit/ They clearly missed/overlooked something and I wonder if anyone who is still vaping/smoking will even be cast on future seasons.
What people dont realize is how hard it really is to get on survivor. It makes me sick when people quit for the dumbest reasons. Its disrespectful to those who fought to get on the show just to watch and see you quit because you dont have your vape.

He’s Brandon’s dad.
@@TheDizzleHawkeno he’s Brandon’s uncle. There’s a third Hantz brother named Sean. That’s Brandon’s dad
@@ThexJohnxSmithxShowmaybe I got them confused. His dad was on the family visit.
Emily's growing on me. I'm glad she made it out of those first few days
I love Emily Emily is a pretty name too
She came to play, played it too hard right away and had successfully found a place
@@58twright not really
@@TheMArtagnan she wasn't playing hard, she was playing dumb.. she was thinking perfectly fine but was saying it out loud to everyone to make herself the target. She put on a fake persona mid season which wasn't even entertaining but at least it took some of the heat off of her (don't blame her for that). The entire season was bad because the players didn't tell us a story, the entire story was about beware idols and people losing their vote.
This Lulu trime looks like a portlandia sketch. When the therapist lady doesn't recognize the irony of wanting to watch drama unfold, it kills me
Honestly, Brandon Hantz could have been decent if he didn't focus so much of his game on being not Russel.
@@Chimcharlover13Absolutely right!
Spoilers:
He went home with an idol that he was wearing at tribal.
Wow, he did so much........
Honestly, the weaker players quitting early made this season great. Because it meant the strong, smart players stayed in for the merge.
that season was absolute garbage, there weren't any smart players.
Imagine being lucky enough to be chosen just to quit or worse, imagine being the person that missed cut over them
For me, it has got to be SHE THREW YOUR RICE IN THE FIRE AND YOU DIDN'T VOTE HER OUT!! That moment still haunts me.
When I watched Brandon Hantz at the South Pacific reunion, I just wanted to give him a hug and tell him everything will be ok.
This is just proof Emily and Kaleb didn't stand a chance. Half that tribe was horrible.
Kaleb was carrying Lulu on his back!
@@OnceUponAnIsland poor guy. I feel like he's a shoe in for a new Era all stars. They loved him this season!
What they didn't film was a 36 hour monsoon in Fiji, Lulu had no fire, no pot or shelter, Hannah didn't just quit . she was burnt. I am her mom. She actually did well in the first challenge. The producers made it a lot tougher than previous seasons...and I am not really thrilled about all the chances given in this new era.
@@tinarose3868Sure Jan
Watching this season so far, it made me so upset that they quit on their own. How many people apply that actually want to be on the show and don’t get the opportunity.
Well presumably they thought they wanted to be there and just weren't actually ready I guess.
Imagine being a therapist and literally quitting cuz of nicotine and food
Well, yeah, she is a therapist, but I think you are underplaying the fact she is a woman.
Well still just cuz ur a woman doesn’t mean ur any less capable than the men as survivors shown many times
@@Robrtttt.7 stop liking your own comments dude it's cringe
The start to this season was really frustrating. Least satisfying tribals I can remember. The last few episodes have saved it for me, but I was really questioning it I would keep watching.
God bless Brandon. I hope that he finds a godly example in his life to counter his horrible family ❤

Hannah and Sean shouldn’t have been snuffed
I love how Russel is the least crazy member of the Hantz family. 😂😂
Wow, thank you!
Eric giving away his immunity. Eric is my favorite non winner, it blew my mind he could do something so dumb
I think the producers need to do some better research on the people they cast. There are many people that would give so much to be able to be there.
Blew my mind when that girl sat out of all the challenges
Emily has had the best growth by a mile, so she’s one of my favs at this point.
Am I the only one who half expected Brandon and Phillip to start sticking out their tongue's @each other saying, "I'm rubber you're glue, etc???" Or the time honored, tried and true " I know you are but what am I?"
Honestly Brandon (South Pacific one) was probably brought up in a narcissistic toxic family. I feel sorry for him
It looked like Hannah just wanted a vacation - you get voted out first and you just get luxuries back and stay for the remainder of the game in an exotic location...
Jeff giving Brandon a shoulder massage as he's voted out is certainly not what I was expecting to see.
The fact that you highlight what wimps are on season 45, says a lot about season 45.
Yellow tribe this season at the start was full of the highest babies I’ve ever seen on this show.
I know it’s unlikely you’ll cover it, but the first ever ejection in Island of the Idols was quite the experience
Here you go! - ua-cam.com/video/pFPINkBgIQA/v-deo.html
Heroes vs. Villains was the best season of Survivor. There were amazing moves almost every week. Pavarti played 2 idols...on other people. Biggest bad-ass move ever.
Love the Heroes vs Villans.
Rob was booted out early, Russel was simping and scheming. Parv charming and playing everyone. Thats
"I just wanna get this over with and get some hot dog in my mouth..."
My favorite tyson quote.😂
Tyson has said within the season that it literally was just an oversight. He was his own demise
thing is it was explained to him before the vote by Boston Rob..He owned up to his mistake but it was bigger than a "oversight" he got outplayed by Russell.
4 times Russell Hantz blew our minds
This is what happens when survivor shifts gears to bringing more nerds and overweight people and bringing less people who are in good shape
Are you on crack??? Her being a therapist is horrifying
I truly don't, yes we got Emily but I can't respect Hannah's quit when people with her addiction fought harder to overcome it before her
She left to give her tribe a better chance, she was a good physical player, but Lulu had no flint for 9 days, no water, no rice and nothing to eat.... there comes a point when one backs out to help her tribe mates
@@tinarose3868 Only 3 days you mean.
Three days and a monsoon that they didn't film with no shelter, no flint and no food, life is always filmed as good on the beach,@@queenzoroark
The thumbnail is gold 😆
Ok unrelated to literally everything but when I first saw Kaleb I was thrown for such a loop because I have that EXACT shirt
I think Wllie was on Big Brother the same year Brandon melted down. It's no wonder we haven't seen a Hantz on TV since
Yep, BB14 happened right after Caramoan finished filming but Caramoan aired after BB14 in 2013. It had to be a 1-2 punch.
Anyone else love it when alliances fall and chaos reigns 😂
I'm watching Game Changers right now and the interactions of all the egos is blowing my mind.
16:03 As someone who just started watching survivor like 5 episodes ago, this is SHOCKING
Which Survivor moment should I include in a future video?
I like how you say what Hannah and Sean's jobs are just as another dig at them 😂
That Sami is secretly 19!!
Sami is 19?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!??!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! How can that be legal?!
do this when the current season ends, ranking every survivor season
You know shocked me? Did you know Claire sat out?
Hannah honestly is iconic 😂😂
You always do an amazing job with these videos!
Thank you very much!
The first one was like 10 moments in one 😂
Season 45 pissed me off. Too many people who didn't belong there.
I wish CBS would go back to casting based on personality, fortitude and game savy. The new era of mandated demographics is not working.
Hi i live outside of america (new Zealand) and want to watch survivor but hulu isnt in my reigon where do i watch?
I know its also on paramount plus
Some might argue about Russell being the Michael Jordan of Survivor, but I'm sure we can all agree on one thing: Brett Clouser from Samoa is not Mike Tyson. He's Brett.
and Kaleb from Survivor 45 isn't Batman. He's The Canadian
Russell's more like the James Harden of Survivor IMO 😂
Caryn votinng with Tom and Ian and imploding her gameplay in the process (and still voting for Tom to win) lol
Players nowadays are too kind! They don’t take advantage, backstab, fight, spy and lie like they used to 😂
Three quitters in one season and people are still trying to tell me this latest season was good. 🙄
It's fine 😂 in our season 3 half of the people left by themselfs really soon coz they wanted to go home.
One of the reasons was missing their cat.
She shouldn't have been on the show."

They clearly missed/overlooked something and I wonder if anyone who is still vaping/smoking will even be cast on future seasons.
What people dont realize is how hard it really is to get on survivor. It makes me sick when people quit for the dumbest reasons. Its disrespectful to those who fought to get on the show just to watch and see you quit because you dont have your vape.
Survivor has turned into Whineor.
Me, watching the video :

Yes, Lulus and the Hantz
One is a genius, the other's insane ... 🎙🐁

Never watched survivor season 45. Now I’m glad I didn’t. Very indicative of the shift we have seen in modern culture. Actually sad.
Survivor 45 was really good.
You can tell Jeff wanted to say something for the Belo tribe SO BAD
