Wow! Your honesty is appreciated and nobody can expect someone else to like Everything. Also, you don't have to be sad that you don't like it, it's OK:)
Well apparently, a lot of these comments disagree with the reaction. I like the song because I love the whole album, It's a true masterpiece! It certainly beats Boogie Oogie Oogie.
You should listen to at least one John Denver song. He was very popular in the early and mid 1970's (and won several awards). Possibly "Take Me Home Country Roads" or "Rocky Mountain High"
My favorite band from the 70's !!! Jeff Lynne is a brilliant song/writer who still plays and I love his music some Lyrics are sublime suck as "Midnight Blue " I recommend it !!!
ELO was a deliberate attempt at morphing classical orchestra, with the raw freedom and spontaneity of modern pop/rock! Actually it's simple!!! But it was their BABY, and they brought it up well!!! One drawback to ELO, WAS ........ ~ELO~ ! When you make the decision to pair up orchestral based musical ideas with pop, you get a never ending conflictuation that the listener(s) are either ok with,, or,, NOT ok with!!! Analogy ....... oil & water ....... get it?!?!?!?!
I'm very surprised you didn't love it. (It's one of my top 3-5 ELO songs). This might be their first song where they ventured into the Disco sound. To me it's got it all- catchy pop-rock with disco beat and an orchestral nuanced arrangement. If I didn't already love you I might fight you on this one! 😍😀 Thank you for being honest with us!!
It's okay if you didn't like this song. Look at it this way. Every singer or band whether they are great or not always will have a song or two or three that will never make the "A" side of a record. That being said everyone is entitled to their own opinion. So thank you for your honesty. What some consider "A" side songs others consider to be "B" side. Can't please everyone all the time. Growing up when I did groups like Cheap Trick, Boston, Bad Company, ZZ Top and others were all I listened to. Went and saw them live and they played a big part of my youth. But each of them would throw stuff in the mix that I didn't care for. But so what! The rest of their music more than made up for the little duds here and there.
Finally! Not many reactors risk hurting their subscribers' feelings when a song leaves them underwhelmed. I'm an ELO fan, and this one just sort of gets boring, repeating the same lyrics seemingly endlessly. Respect, Angela! Time for some Rockaria?
Yeah, that's the way it is sometimes. I've also heard songs that didn't click for me but grew on me over time. That probably wont happen with this though, because you're not likely to hear it out and about much, but it happens.
Sometimes, songs don’t always hit a home run the first time you hear it, some songs like wine take time to mature to the ear. Why I never judge a book by its cover or people, some people ai never thought I’d get along with, 6 months later best of friends, but not always, music can be the same, it’s a reaction, that’s all it is. Just a thought and experience.
I Love this song, but I appreciate your honesty that you don’t really feel it. Maybe you just need to listen to it a few more times or maybe it’s just not one that you care for… No problem 🤷🏼♂️
Sweet girl, I disagree with you on this song, I love it ! HOWEVER, what I enjoy about your reactions are the fact if you don't like it, you say so! You are HONEST unlike so many reactors on here who like everything they listen too (I don't believe them)! They do so to try and establish a viewership, whereas you are honest! For that reason alone, I RESPECT your opinion! You rock girl !!!!!
"Sweet Talkin' Woman" lays down a drum-friendly rhythm, delirious bursts of swirling strings and endlessly overdubbed backing vocals, all of which mesh to seamlessly form an ornate, but irresistible funhouse of pop hooks.
Nothing to apologize for, you can't like them all and it's ok. When I was younger my favorite band in the world was ELO, but there were songs I wasn't a huge fan of. Even this one I have only thought of as being ok. But don't let it keep you from checking more of their stuff out!
No need to apologize for being honest. I do like this song, but I feel the same way Mr. Blue Sky as you feel about this song even though most people seem to enjoy it....different strokes.
Angela, ELO is my favorite band, so it puzzles me when someone says they didn't care for one of their songs. Especially a widely beloved classic like, "Sweet Talkin' Woman". However, the LAST thing I would want would be for you to pretend to like a song that you didn't. *So thank you for your honesty* -- and the sweetness with which you expressed it. Next from ELO, I suggest you react to my favorite song from their wonderful catalog, about a different kind of woman than the one you just reacted to. lol It's called *"Evil Woman"* and since its release in 1975, I've never met anyone that didn't like it...most adore it! :D
Hi Angela you can't like them all. This is like most ELO songs you can't go wrong with any of their songs which they are all great. That's what I like about you being honest.
Suggestion: First Punk Band - The New York Dolls - song: "Personality Crisis" off their first album (1973)...Bowie, Iggy Pop, Kiss, Aerosmith, the English Punk scene all say The New York Dolls were their inspiration... suggested URL: www.youtube.com/watch?=Ctg5FCS1wCM Midnight Special Performance
This band is very diverse and talented! I've mentioned a couple of times in the past what songs I like by them, but I'd like to emphasize for you to play I Can't Get It Out Of My Head, the full version! It's worth listening to! You can't like everything! Your honesty is above any false pretense! Keep on keeping on as they say!
Actually this is my favorite song of theirs and one of my favorite songs ever. Jeff Lynne is a musical genius. Its everyones prerogative to like or dislike.
Really nice to see you reacting to the great ELO and be honest. Please, if you love ELO you have to react to All Over the World, Last Train to London, Livin Thing, Don't bring me down and Evil Woman. You are going to love them all. Those were all hits. Other songs are Can't get it out of my head or Mr. Blue sky that were also very popular. Regards from Chile!! :-)
Hello Angela! It's been way too long since I've seen one of your reactions! ELO had so many great songs, but the title of this song, Sweet Talking Woman, seems perfect for you! 😁
I like it more than you but it's not one of my favorites from them. It's catchy but kind of formula. Like they made it only with the intention for it to be a big hit off the album, which it was.
Its a song really thats a Radio 2 song from a Radio 1 group, is probably the best way to describe it. The chords seem to take it musically two ways, probably a Jeff intended.
Verrry interesting.. I was not an ELO fan in ‘real time’ ( back in the day ) but have begun to like them more only recently via these reaction vids… and this one seemed as good as the others to me. I don’t consciously remember this one.. Angela, good honest reaction as always. That honesty, and the wide variety of styles and mix of hits vs. deep cuts … these are why your channel stands out as special. Thanks!! Keep ‘em coming!!
I think if you listened to it a few times it would grow on you. Also you don't have the memories associated with it which also colors our feelings about it.
Not my favorite song either. I'm not a BILLBOARD 100 guy and most of these reaction videos are top 100 radio hits.....they get boring. For Electric Light Orchestra try "South of The Border" "Letter from Spain" "Secret Mes]sages" "Fire on High" "Its Over"
Maybe if you Listen Again. This is one of those Songs that the More You Listen, the More You Appreciate it! It's Odd for me, Cause this has Got to be my Fav. ELO Song 🎶! Followed Closely by, Turn to Stone! & Telephone 📞 Line!! 😁 But I'll still give Ya a 👍
Shine a Little Love, All Over the World, Do Ya, Last Train to London and I'm Alive are some great ELO tunes. IMO, the grandaddy of them all is Fire On High. Long time listener, first time caller. Love you, love your show.😉
hard to sit still during one of their songs. If you haven't heard this one yet, can I suggest "Jim Croce: Time In A Bottle - 1973"? I think you'll like it.
ELO is ok in my book but not a group that excited me back in the day. I never bought any of their music. Best music of the 70s was early 70s in terms of the music that made it onto pop charts. By the mid70s hit songs were uninspired. Disco took over pop charts in late 70s. The music that made the 60s and early 70s 'fresh' had run its course. The pop world was changing with punk and new wave emerging in late 70s and becoming mainstream in early 80s.
Angela, Not every song is going to be your cup of tea. And that's OK. We still want your honest opinion. That's why we like your channel. I am sure you like some songs that many of your fans aren't crazy about. That doesn't mean we stop being fans. You just keep it real girl, and your fans will always be there! I happen to love ELO and am a fan of all their songs. That doesn't mean you have to be also. I will always be an fan of you Angela.
First of all, any reviewer who likes everything or hates everything is boring. And I like that you have in-between reactions. There's a lot of territory between terrible and terrific. Even my favorite group of all time, the B52s, have a handful of songs that didn't wow me. I do like this song, but to me, ELO is one of those groups that gets better with repeated listenings.
This song is not polarizing in any way..it’s straight forward nice middle of the road piece..with no weird diversions…hard to understand how this feel-good piece missies the mark with you…unless…you have just been liking too many song lately…and just need to even things out a bit…
Please don't apologize for being honest. That is what is great about you. Most other reactors I have watched are so fake. They like everything. And that isn't genuine. Your the real deal. Stay honest. God Bless You.
You were dancing pretty hard for a song you didn't like that much
I was thinking the same thing
YES! The return of the "Xanadu" spirit fingers and hands! YOU ROCK!!
We appreciate your honesty.
One of my favorite ELO songs!!!
Your honesty gets you a subscriber! :-)
You should listen to at least one John Denver song. He was very popular in the early and mid 1970's (and won several awards). Possibly "Take Me Home Country Roads" or "Rocky Mountain High"
Calypso....Live
Rocky Mountain High is by far his best song
From the same era is “Nobody” by Jerry Doucette. He passed away today, but this song is a beauty. You would enjoy it.
My favorite band from the 70's !!! Jeff Lynne is a brilliant song/writer who still plays and I love his music some Lyrics are sublime suck as "Midnight Blue " I recommend it !!!
I agree
Hi girl, your reactions are awesome!! Thanks a lot😊😊😊

I think you have to give this one another listen.
Love your videoes in Texas!
Add Triumph ¨Lay it on the line¨ official video, 1979. You will love the vocals and harmony along with classic rock sound.
Angela let’s here Burning Love by Elvis!!
Last train to London should be next great song.
You need to watch All Over The World. The video with the dancing from all over the world

sounds a bit retro, like 1957🕊️
sing with them, baby !!
But you can't deny it got you moving?..:)
I Love this song, but I appreciate your honesty that you don’t really feel it. Maybe you just need to listen to it a few more times or maybe it’s just not one that you care for… No problem 🤷🏼♂️

The first ELO song that you're not crazy about happens to be my favorite ELO song. Strange.
Nothing to apologize for, you can't like them all and it's ok. When I was younger my favorite band in the world was ELO, but there were songs I wasn't a huge fan of. Even this one I have only thought of as being ok. But don't let it keep you from checking more of their stuff out!
This is my fave ELO song, it just hits just right for me.
My favourite too
Saw ELO in a concert a few years ago and they were spectacular.
I love their music. Great choice!
Angela, check out "Do Ya" by ELO.
this song is magic - and damn you were fakin shakin during the song - ELO is amazing
No need to apologize for being honest. I do like this song, but I feel the same way Mr. Blue Sky as you feel about this song even though most people seem to enjoy it....different strokes.

My favorite ELO song. The music and vocal harmonies are brilliant.
ELO is a deep rabbit hole to dive into, and you will be happy you did. I saw them live in 1978, incredible!!!!
Wow that would be a dream for me. I'm 49 and my father (RIP) and I loved the ELO. You are really lucky guys!
Regards from Chile.
@Brian H the stage was a saucer that opened.
Hi Angela you can't like them all. This is like most ELO songs you can't go wrong with any of their songs which they are all great. That's what I like about you being honest.
My favorite ELO song!
If you like this song, you'll probably like "Spellbound" by Triumph.
King...where did that come from? Lol
She doesn't like it.
So what you're telling us is she probably wouldn't like the song Spellbound by Triumph. Good to know. 😋

Try ...
Mr. Blue sky, showdown, evil woman, can't get it out of my head and more
Thank you not one of my favorites and i like ELO saw them in concert twice !
Seen them once it was a night show as they had a lot of lights they were awesome!!
these guys have a great instrumental called fire on high. It has one of the greatest intros of any rock song I have heard !
Wow...I'm Shocked 😲 But I Respect Your Honesty & Opinion.
If you like ELO then you'll probably like The Alan Parson's Project!
"insufficient data coming through"...memories of my childhood coming through.
Hmmm, actually it's my favorite of theirs. It's fine, everyone has different musical tastes.
Actually this is my favorite song of theirs and one of my favorite songs ever. Jeff Lynne is a musical genius. Its everyones prerogative to like or dislike.
Really nice to see you reacting to the great ELO and be honest.

I didn't like it either in 1977, but it grows on you after a decade or two!
Hey honey : will you do Chestnut mare by the Byrds
Sweet Talking Woman awesome song!!
Love all of ElO's songs but this is my fav
ELO is a great band, but Angela no apologies needed. 👍
Wow! That’s one of my favourite ELO songs. I’m so disappointed we’re not on the same page with this one😢
You can't love them all! It would’ve been nice to know “why” you didn’t like it, though. That’s what makes a music reactor worth watching.
Its a song really thats a Radio 2 song from a Radio 1 group, is probably the best way to describe it. The chords seem to take it musically two ways, probably a Jeff intended.
OMG!!! Your going to love this!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️memory lane totally!!!! Love ELO!!!!💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙just an old lady from Oregon
Give The Diary of Horace Wimp a spin. You’ll love it. Cheers, Angela.
Unfortunately reactors seem to be avoiding Horace
Great song ! Love ELO Best of my love by the emotions (1977) is another great song.
My gosh you are so cute 😍

One of my favorite ELO songs. So uplifting and fun. ...and the memories from that time!
I think if you listened to it a few times it would grow on you. Also you don't have the memories associated with it which also colors our feelings about it.
I didn’t think so much of ELO when I first heard them. But the more you listen to their music they grow on you. I like them quite a bit now.
How could you not like this? You were dancing so nicely to it.
What a nice demeanor you have.
Not my favorite song either. I'm not a BILLBOARD 100 guy and most of these reaction videos are top 100 radio hits.....they get boring.
For Electric Light Orchestra try "South of The Border"
"Letter from Spain" "Secret Mes]sages" "Fire on High" "Its Over"

I totally agree....ELO did so much better music than this, I hated this song (but it was popular in 1977, so what can you do....you go with the flow)
Angela, Not every song is going to be your cup of tea. And that's OK. We still want your honest opinion. That's why we like your channel. There's only one way to restore your faith in Mr. Lynn & Co.
Rockaria or Roll Over Beethoven. Two ways. Two ways to restore........you get it.....
If you didn’t like it, why were you grooving to it and, what I call, chair dancing (making dance-like movements while sitting)?
Please don't apologize for being honest. That is what is great about you. Most other reactors I have watched are so fake. They like everything. And that isn't genuine. Your the real deal. Stay honest. God Bless You.
Watching you dance. I think maybe you couldn't get in to the starting and stopping over and over. Of the tempo. It's all good.🌹
