So happy that you made my hometown look so beautiful 😍 Love San Antonio!!!
I have no words, this is just impressive
Perfectly suited with that wonderful Interstellar remix.
What an experience.
cool transition bruh loved that one with the light of the bike to the light of the room
‘Wow’ and ‘EPIC’ come to mind.
I was thinking about getting this lens. I believe you just sealed the deal! Beautiful, inspired work.
Only wanted to find out more about this lens but this edit is absolutely outstanding, so you sir have yourself a new subscriber :)
Wonderful! Finally, someone with a camera who knows that life doesn't happen at 50% speed! I'm so sick of videos that are ALL slo-mo I almost never want to use it again, ever!
that video is insanely good! 🕺🏿 It deserves billions of views!
Awesome editing sir! Encore please 👏
Unreal footage and editing!
Excellent piece and a great showcase for the lens as well as your skills.
just awesome
I appreciate your effort and skill reflecting in this video! They should have payed you for this.
Thank you. I'm buying this lens.
Crazy edit. Great work!
Really some fantastic editing and transitions. the motorcycle headlamp to hanging lamp at 2:19 blew my mind. have been looking around for samples of what this lens is capable of and this really showcased its potential. you should sell this film to laowa cause Im sold on the lens now
brilliant. and luck. if somebody ask me.
One of the most epic short films I've ever seen! GREAT work man, great work!!
It was something to behold
This should have a minimum of 1mil views!

Stunning
Picking my jaw up off the floor... Holy moly
that was trippily epic! loved it!
wow!
Great work!
And again .... GREAT work!
AWESOME Video! How did you maintain focus throughout each scene, while moving. Isn't this lens a "Manual" lens?
Adrian Martinez wise lens is easier to keep in focus
Great work man. Very nice transitions, you deserve more subscribers.
so glad i got this for my g85
Good work jiucan!
I have been reviewing ultra wide angle lenses for the past days, I'm self taught as you, very picky with my gear, this is an incredible edit, you were able to make me feel using cuts music and framing, keep the good work bud!
Excellent travail ! artistique et technique. Un véritable plaisir pour les yeux. Nice job.
Amazing work !!!
Very cool video..... What I need to know is where did you rent the jetpack that you had to have had to make some of those shots..lol...really I've been thinking that I could get away with the 7artisans version of this lens... Or the Samyang... But to be honest the rectilinear look of this lens versus the distortion you would get on the other ones.... Really puts this lens over the top. Thanks for the great video
Pure awesomeness!!!!
Beautiful editing and super creative... loved it
Nice match cut
Love this! Very Inspiring! Great Job and will probably get this lens!
Fantastic Video!!!!

DUDE!!! Your transitions are friggin dope! I'm guessing it's a lot of masking, example: 0.28 ?
Beautifull.....

What the music?
Amazing job! In my dreams, I can edit like you :-)
Keep at it, it will happen!
crazy edit and shots!!
Who gave the thumbs down? This is a fantastic video!!!
I need a tutorial on your grading ;) Excellent work
Started doing all my grading now in Resolve, hopefully I'll find time to upload a tutorial on my process soon.
Highly impressive and just mesmerizing. Very good eye, subscribed. Where did you get the track? Thank you
The original track is a Hans Zimmer Interstellar remix known as the abandoned remix. I edited the track and added some musical elements to the soundtrack myself as well.
What camera did you use? Was it all shot on the Osmo with exception of drone?
Yes, all osmo ;)
Great footage. What's the name of the background music at the beginning ?
Interstellar theme remix
@@jlucan Thanks a lot!
Whoah...
Nice work !!!
Great job man
This is a great work ... I was also looking to get this setup Osmo R and X5R but got discouraged because of the Inspire 1 flight time. I gonna reconsider it now ..
All the best!
Amazing!!
I love every aspect of your work. However, your color grading and your transitions standout the most for me. Could you share with us the LUTs you use, as well as, how to make some of your transitions. Great work!
Thank you, with shooting RAW I don't use LUTs unless I convert the DNGs to log in DaVince Resolve. I mainly like using Adobe Camera Raw and Resolve for my main grades, then touch up in Premiere with Lumetri. Hope that helps!
jlucan : thanks for responding. Again, I love your work.
Nice! sounds like we have a similar workflow, was wondering if you've had experience with Blackmagic? and if so how you feel DJI's DNG RAW shapes up compared to it?
Are the letterboxes added in post production or is it just the full 4K format? If added in post you could rotate the clip because the Horizontal is a little bit skew. :)
Ps Amazing!!
nice video, the music reminds me of Interstellar main theme.
This is sick dude!
very cool
Sick AF! Do you use a particular car mount for those rolling shots or do you use the normal DJI one (w/ articulating arm)? Or was it just handheld? Great work.
Your editing game is on point👍🏾😎
What camera was this? SICK low light at 4min 0 sec in the club. Do you remember what ISO you shot with?
sick video!
How many FPS was this shot on? Beautiful.
Welp. I am going to sell my gh5 and work at Starbucks or something cause I can't come anywhere close to that amazing-ness lol
J/k This was inspiration, Amazing visuals. and I like the music. Was it some Interstellar remix, name please? Great job, I am a fan / new sub
Captain here:
Interstellar Main Theme (Abandoned Remix)
Amazing! ... Great work!
Great video, about to purchase the lens myself, did you have an ND or polarizing filter attached to get the clouds to really pop?
Wow! Mind-blowing! Was the Loawa sharp wide open @ f/2?
Track sounds like a riff on Inception. Whats the music?
Patrick Tomasso sounds like interstellar
amazing work - do you shoot raw for this video with the x5r camera?
Awesome! I think you didn't mention the camera, what camera did you use with the lens? Panasonic, Olympus?
Camera gear details are in the description above. It was the DJI Osmo X5R.
yeah thanks, I thought you couldn't remove the lens from the Osmo X5R, so I was wondering how did you use the Laowa with it, but I got it now ;)
What lut did you use mate?
song link pls, also sick job on the vid deciding between this, or the 7-14mm from Panasonic using it for skateboarding and short films
Great work! Is that tunnel in San Antonio? if so, where might I ask? Thanks
You are just amazing. subscribed. Does this lens autofocus or was it shot in manual focus mode?
No autofocus or aperture control since there's no electronics in the lens mount. It's an all manual lens.
jlucan do you leave focus all the way out? And what aperture values did you shoot at? Amazing vid btw
I've shot mostly at f/2 - f/8 for best results. I never set focus at max for infinity, my technique was to always dial down a slight hair from max for infinity focus.
Dude. Your transitions. Otherworldly. You need to do tutorials!
