Hp Pavilion plus 14 (ew0116TU) doesn't have fingerprint and it comes with 3 cell battery where as dell 5430 comes with fingerprint and 4 cell battery. HP has page up and page down buttons separately which is very convenient and overall keypad feels better than dell 5430. SD card slot is not available in HP but it is there in dell 5430. Apart from these, both have same processor and RAM config so buy whichever you like it.
I bought a dell laptop henge broke two times, when I send to be fixed that lost my laptop that created a service tag but it never was found I am still waiting for them to find it. Dell support is fraud.
