Ronnie, as soon as I can get my band in the box loaded I will show these in a chord progression. This will give a better feel for how they work in songs.
      Thanks! Aaron

The 3rd lick you show (after the backwards rake) starts on Fret 7 9th string = C note. Can you explain how the first two licks relate to the Cm ?Knowing how they originate will help me transpose.Thanks.

Your videos are great.....and your helpful attitude really helps. Is there a way you can place a sequential number in front of the Title of each lesson so that us followers can be sure not to miss a lesson? I really think your stuff is fantastic.

Ballwinguy, great idea. I will run this by my son and see what we can do.
      Thanks! Aaron

Ballwinguy, the first two licks are playing notes of an extended minor phrase the notes or note that may sound a little dissonant is the Maj. 7th or B note. The lick after the rake is simple two parts. You have the 1,3,5 at the 7th fret this is your Maj. triad for a C major chord. Than the second part of the lick at the sixth is simple a Gb Maj. triad or the 1,3,5 of a Gb major chord. These two than repeat an octave higher for both. Again this lick is a little out there for our ear but will work over most altered C chords i.e. C7b5, C13#5b9, and so on.
      Hope this helps. Aaron
