      @@bigboner23 at 6ft. Look how tough the game was back then, who will he pass? Eric snow? Motumbo? His teammates were not scorers they were great defender. They are relying on AI too much in scoring, AI played 41-42mins a game i know you know how tiring that is. There's no threat offensively in sixers only him. When a washed up Chris Webber was traded to sixers look at what happened, AI averages 33ppg 7apg at 45fg%, even with Chris on his team AI was still the main threat offensively. The reason there's zone defense was because of AI, remember he change rules.

      I read the biography about AI. For years I've wondered the same thing. Why he hell did Denver trade him? The truth is that after the first season AI's bad habits began coming out again. Getting drunk every night n failing to show up for practice. He would constantly call in with multiple excuses or just no show all together. AI was my favorite player and the most electric player I've ever seen. Sadly he was his own worst enemy. If he had a fraction I mean a fraction of the work ethic Kobe had, I can't imagine how good he'd be or how much longer he'd have been able to sustain his prime.

    this was his last great year, people weirdly shit on him for his 1.5 Nuggets' seasons but he was actually awesome there, not quite Philly level but still one of the best players in the NBA

    • @shadyboy5090
      @shadyboy5090 5 років тому +14

      He continued his dominance in Denver he had a bit better team but it still wasn't a good fit cuz Melo is a ball hog Iverson should of played with a more diverse guard/forward who could score as well then maybe his career would have ended off better. AI had a couple more good years left its a shame how the league just closed the curtain on him

      First off hes a 2. Secondly, 90% of pgs in nba history were score first. It's a misconception that pgs were always pass first. U had tim hardaway, Rod Strickland, mark price, Kevin johnson, Isiah Thomas, all before AI.

      @John Zada III did u not read what I said, A.I. owned Derek Fisher in an individual type of way, Fisher had a better team, A.I. is to good for Fisher to guard or stop. A.I. dropped 48 on Fisher in game 1 of the 2001 finals and dropped 51 on him this game and I can name way more games where A.I. destroyed Fisher. You're clearly just to arrogant to understand what I'm saying.

    this is the reason why ai is better than kyrie te answer drops 51points or average 30+ points in every game also contribute assist while kyrie always show some dribbling skills just to steal the show so i still stick on ai for the pound for pound game
