Blackboard Grade Center Basics

A primer on getting started with the Blackboard Grade Center.
Covered in this video: Finding the Grade Center, emailing students, explanation of pre-populated columns, creating new columns for graded elements (assuming we had manually-graded paper assignments or the like, etc.), filling in a formula for the Weighted Total, and setting the "external grade" Total column for desired letter-display to students.

Thank you very much. Just a question (maybe stupid): once I add the score for an assignment to the column (let's say 'homework 1'), does the student automatically see the score or I have to do something more?
