I saved a huge dragon fly from a pond, I thought it was a mouse or little rat when I seen it because when it seen me it turn and came my direction and even as I walk around the pond it arced towards me, but when it got close and I realised what it was I helped out straight away and it sat on my hand for a bit, but it needed recovery time so I put it down in a safe place out of the direct wind. Later on at sunset I was outside and it came back and flew around me for maybe 5 minutes before swooping the pond on his way out for the night, absolute magical moment. Intelligence I've never seen from an insect, I could tell it was thankful and it knew I was it's only way from death. I love the little ornithopters they can move any direction at maximum speed, very old, perfect flying design
