Someone please explain to me why Mexicans want to live in the US so badly when their own country is "independant" from Spanish rule. Why do they celebrate this independance while wanting desperately to live under US rule. Therefore, not independant--being ruled by another country, rather...
Que alguien me explique por qué los delincuentes gringos le robaron medio territorio a México!
Fun fact, most Castilian-Americans people did not want to leave Spanish rule.
My birthday ❤️ te amo Mexico❤️❤️❤️
Happy Birthday myself, 24 years old
it isn´t accurate to name Father to Miguel Hidalgo, he was a priest not a father, in Mexico no one calls him that
it's because is also known as one of the "padres de la patria"
I celebrate that day. I hope there is a Mexican movie about this
and yet you are speaking english
Celebrate it in Mexico Build a wall
May 5 means nothing to mexicans. But for the gringos is important and I don't know why.
A big reason why Cinco de Mayo is important to the U.S. is because it had more of an effect on America than September 16th. Cinco De Mayo was the date of a huge battle between the French and the Mexicans, but it also took place during the American Civil War. The theory at the time was that if France took over Mexico it would lead to them allying with the Confederacy to fight against the U.S. Because the Mexicans won the battle it helped keep France from joining the Confederacy to fight the U.S. Another reason is that the holiday was started in America (California), and alcohol companies also advertised to Mexican-Americans a lot around the holiday.
@@Struggle.Itself That's exactly right, thanks to Mexico The U.S might have been under confederate control. Also Abrigham Lincoln and Benito were allies, and so the help was mutual.
because it kept france away from the continent and from interrupting the manifest destiny
Actually most think its stupid
Cinco De Mayo celebrates a battle against the French
in the 1980 Sports bars wanted a drinking holiday after St Patricks day and before the 4th of July
So your holiday means nothing but selling liquor
Here you are insulting white Americans that invented the computer and household electricity
We invented spray paint too Ironic huh? USA created the microchip and you created the tortilla chip

Ok, my culture just did this:
They managed to establish with mathematical accuracy the duration of the solar year, the cycle of Venus, the lunar periods and the cycles of different stars or constellations.
Great advances in the sciences of mathematics, astronomy, calendars and writing systems, technology, commerce, art and architecture.
Hydraulic buildings, Rubber, chocolate, corn, tomatoes, medical knowledge.
In a way they discovered zero.
But continue celebrating a battle that you did not fight and that you did not win.
Our biggest celebration is Independence Day, September 16.
I have a question for any of my Mexican brothers and sisters bcuz I really want to know. Why do Mexican people hold the Spanish language so near and dear when its the language of the people who oppressed you?
Maybe due to the same reason any other country which has been conquered by other nations... is the one we know. I wish to know nahuatl or mayan or any other!. Consider that many of our ancient people were killed but many didn't continue with the original and several languages we had. There still remain dialects in a lot of places in Mexico, unfortunately just few people know those, there has been many programs in order to recover them, though. Another thing to take on count is our kind nature, normally we don't hate hehe, we appreciate our roots and past because are part of us.
Tf
because they did not "oppress" us... they are our ancestors, we Mexicans are of mixed race, indigenous blood, Spanish among others
Because we are partially have Spanish DNA!
When did Spain oppressed the Mexicans?
VIVA MEXICO!!!!!!
Then move there
I wonder how hard does the U.S government & immigration dept laugh their asses off when they watch this video lol
Why would they be laughing? It's the Mexicans crossing over to the u.s illegally, it's the central Americans who use the Mexican border to illegally cross to the u.s. You people are just idiots who got brainwashed into believing that everyone who crosses the border is Mexican. As a matter of fact, there's more u.s citizens leaving the u.s to live in Mexico, but your media stays quiet on that topic.
