I have decided to return my ultra and get the pro for several reasons. 1. This thing eats battery. I work in a hot pool/gym (sauna heat) and it lasts about 4 hours which isn’t good enough for the price. 2. The light keeps turning on in my bag that runs the battery down? There is no reason for a light. 3. The long press on the button is annoying. I only have it on for short bursts and sometimes I’ll long press and it won’t work. 4. Noise. It’s high pitched. In comparison the pro is larger so cools a larger surface area on my face. It is also much quieter and doesn’t have that annoying high pitched noise. Lastly the pro battery lasts all day. Granted the pro isn’t as powerful but tbh it’s powerful enough as a fan. The higher settings on the ultra are only used for hair drying really lol
Agree, the more i use it, the more I realise I never ever go to the higher fan speeds because it’s uncomfortable to have super strong wind blowing all the time, on top of the high pitch noise. Personally haven’t used the Pro1s before, so I haven’t been able to compare the battery life. But several reviews on Amazon also mentioned that the Pro1s has better battery life!
I know some people despise this fan, but it is a MUST when summer comes, especially in southeast asian countries like Philippines, where temperatures are too hot to tolerate without this fan (Or any hot/harsh climates around the world) but only for a short period of time. I can't imagine Jisulife creating a second generation of this ultra fan! (be it an upgrade)
Certainly do hope the battery life can be much better in version 2. I’m looking at some handheld blowers for cleaning, which can do a claimed speed of 15m/s for 16 hours. Wondering if they can be used as cooling fans as well. Actually jisulife has 2 new fans on kickstarter, one of them is called Ultra1 (confusing name) and it is targeted towards campers. It is large and not compact at all, but has much larger battery
Bought 2 of this beast 1-2 months ago, gave one to my dad and he love it lol he just use it in the public at max speed not giving a care about people stares sia
Thank you very much. This is a very honest review. I have been in a dilemma whether I will purchase the pro1s or this ultra. With your review, I now have my decision. Also, I personally appreciate how you pay attention to the comments and engage with your viewers by giving a reply. It makes a dffierence as anyone might have the same concern or question.
Bought this regardless of how loud it is cause I'll be using it for cleaning PCs and maybe some usage outdoors. I'll be buying The pro1/pro1s for my main cooler. But overall its a great fan, would recommend Update: I now unironically use the Ultra1 to clean my Pro1S which is now my daily cooler cause unlike the ultra1, the pro1s doesn't cause a scene in the library everytime you use it
I got mine 2 months ago! But it’s quite better fan ever! Sometimes I’m hesitating to use on public because you’ll catch people attention around you because of its noise!😅😂
Final decision last week bought Pro1s cause fan head is big cover area is large. Pro1s Fan speed around 40-50 quite strong wind with 5000mah battery and fast charge also.
I think it was intentionally overpowered since it could be used as blowers/dusters. I won't use it on my camera sensor though like in other promo videos. 😅 Probably I'll use it for blowing dust for other less sensitive equipment like keyboards, exterior glass for camera lenses/filters, and my computer's internals. Really, the power/tech they placed in such a small form is amazing.
@@chevlim hahaha probably it's a location/humidity thing. We have super dry dust in our place now, so fine dust is easy to blow. But I could imagine if I'm back home in the Philippines, it'll be a bit humid and might require some blowing and brushing/wiping. 😅
Maybe I should get the Pro1s too and do a comparison review. This Ultra1 is this only Jisulife product i have tried, and I thought the battery life was pretty good. But many commenters have been telling me the Pro1s is even better!
@@chevlim I just got the Ultra today and I love it, I plan to use it summer nights in the night club/Bars here in Los Angeles (It gets hot in the clubs) so it being loud isnt an issue becuase the music is way louder lol but Im also thinking of getting the Pro1s since it last longer and maybe having it as a backup, I just dont think the Pro1s comes close in fan power but I guess I need to just buy it and see the difference, if the Pro1s is as good and blows as hard as the Ultra is at 50% then I would be happy with it
Great video! I picked up the Jisulife Pro1S last year. It's a great fan with similar features. It doesn't have a mount, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone could 3d print one with a slot to add a 1/4" threaded insert. I also feel like the slightly larger fan head allows for a lower pitch fan noise. That plus the lower price makes the Ultra1 a pass for me. Unfortunately fans like these only help so much if all the air around you is super hot. I was sitting outdoors in the shade in 104°F weather for a cook out, and it only helped a little.
Oof 104F is really darn hot. I havent tried the Pro1S personally, but I think you could be right that a larger fan head may help reduce the pitch. And yup, Ultra1 certainly don’t come cheap haha
This thing is just resting in my drawer since last year's purchase and until now it's only been charged ONCE 😂 Couldn't bring this outside due to the high-pitched noise it produces that is noticeable even at 1% fan speed For me the most useful thing it can do is this part of the video 1:04 😁 Also tried the blower attachment and it keeps on popping out, ugh.
How long did you managed to get the unit to last? battery seems to be draining quite fast, 1%/30s when at 100% fan speed. Not sure if I got a defective unit
I recorded about 45mins of use only at 100% fan speed. And based on my test, it keeps throttling the fan speed to 70% and i would have to keep bumping it back up to 100% to keep the test consistent
Bro, thank you for the video. I am in the UAE. It is hot and humid outside. Do you think that if I use this outdoors, it will genuinely help? See, I am afraid that it will just blow the hot air from the surroundings.
That situation also occurred to me when i was testing it on a VERY hot afternoon, when walking on the pavement without shade. I felt it blowing out warm air and the wind didn’t help a whole lot But as soon as i went into a shaded area, the wind is much cooler and it’s doing its job
@@chevlimi think whatever fan you use will face the same problem 😅 if u use it in a very hot area, the wind comes out will be bit warm😅. By the way, just get my life9 today as i really dun like to scroll so many time to reach max😂. for me 3rd or 4th speed would be my ideal. 5th too strong for me

Yeah I've used this for over 5 months maxing out on 50% 100% 20% everyday in ph (tropical country) never been dropped just an everyday use it started to smell like smoke whenever i use it for 1 hour 60% and above and it'll shut down on its own, it repeated that in the past few days then it never turns on even on full charge, but if i plug the charger along with it it'll work just fine and don't smoke, so i assumed it's a board issue on its battery, so don't expect it'll last long it has definite issues on its board circuit....
@@chevlim I've Found some many issues with the similar product on reddit also and also the reviews itself, it really do has a problem not with how it was manufactured but the internals itself, it simply can't handle too much rpm or power it causes the board to go haywire... Although I haven’t faced those issues myself, I can see how such a failure may happen when they try to force too much wind out of such a small device.. I have just gotten the Jisulife Pro1S and using it right now! So far so good, will be doing a review on that soon :)
hello i jst got it yesterday, but i noticed the airflow on top half (9 - -3 o'clock) quadrant on mine seems to be stronger compare to the bottom half, is this normal? its noticeable especially on lower fan speed like in between 1 - 60 range.
Hi there! I didn’t feel any noticeable difference between the top and bottom half of the fan head. Perhaps you could contact the distributor in your region to ask about it?
@@chevlim thank you so much for the confirmation mate 👍🏾. I tried sticking paper strips for visual check, but speed "1" already blew every strips straight 😅. I know I can definitely feel the difference with my fingers. Anyways will be returning the unit to Shopee seller.
Oh i usually bring it for my runs, using it at about 20-30% fan speed, for 10-15mins to cool down. Can last me about 4-5 days. But i usually run at night when it’s cooler. I suspect if used in a hot environment, the battery may deplete more quickly due to the heat
I haven't formally tested it yet, but I do intend to do that eventually when I make a comparison video between all of my Jisulife handheld fans. Stay tuned for that!
