What’s the difference on the S/M & M/L band

It is for the watch band! It depends on the size of your wrist. I went with the M/L as I found the S/M barely big enough for my wrist. There is a pdf of the Apple website that shows you which wrist sizes fit the different bands! Hope that helps..
