- My heart is exploding, sharing this episode with you. My dad joins me and we take out the new AWD Prius and put it to the test in the Colorado mountains! This is an action packed, adventure filled video with tons of laughs, lovable moments and even cold weather car camping tips for destination weekend travel! That's nuts. I was thinking of going to steamboat the 19th or 20th but no airbnb's anywhere in the area and those lift tickets are $219 I believe it was. I went back to sun valley idaho instead. If I saw you out there I would have freaked! haha. Well if your Dad was there I'd play it cool and professional, don't worry.
Wow, so pricey!!! HAHA! But ohhh, so much fun!!! OH, Sun Valley is gorgeoussssss, I rollerbladed there once on a drive through (could not resist those smoooothhh walk ways!) and totally need to go back to ski now!!!!
@@NikkiDelventhal I haven't Rollerbladed in years. You mentioned that before. Wow you must really love it. I've been more into hiking, biking, snowboard, xcski.... But I understand it's easier to bring blades with you in the prius instead of say, a bike.
Ketchum is a fun town with an amazing dog park. Hope it doesn't get developed. It has a big creek and over 50+ acres.
Also Mt. Baldy ski mountain is right there in town. So cool. What are your plans the rest of the winter? It's already warming up. I have to drive to the mountains to find snow now. We just did a fun hike in lower palisades, in Eastern Idaho, near Wyoming border. Swan valley. Kahtoola microspikes are helpful. And it's melting but still over 2 feet deep off trail. Cold camping tip. Put hot water in a nalgene and put in your sleeping bag (basically the only reason to spend the money on a nalgene - it holds boiling water)
