fast travel is something this game really needed, getting around the whole map just to get to 1 race is very annoying

Only whoever has already beaten the game needs it. For the first playthrough its always better without it. So i guess that includes everyone here because who the hell hasn't beaten NFSU2 yet? lol

Hear me out, I don’t think fast travel is necessary in U2. The map is pretty small to begin with. And that’s on top of the map still gradually opening up to you as you progress through the game while your car also gets quicker. Plus no fast travel encourages you to explore the map and learn its intricacies like shortcuts, hidden races, outruns, shops, etc. If anything, fast travel should be limited and earned. Like you can only fast travel to shops you’ve discovered, or only to roads you’ve driven. Lowkey fast travel would work really well as an endgame unlock.
I think it becomes nice to have near the end game when races are at opposite ends of the map. Especially since the game crashes all the time and then I have to drive all over again 😂
This is actually the reason why fast travel was never in the game
