South Indian khana is not fika but they don’t do bhunai of the masala which is why we find it different. Their basic cooking style steaming or boiling, and in some cases frying. So it’s different.
Yeah it's different but they said that in comparison to north indian food. I'm from the northeast, living in north & have been to south & I also find their food(only veg) a little bland but nonveg is somewhat like north ka food because of its frying process & the spices
South Indian food is full of flavour and spicy as well. If you think South India is just idli sambhar then you will obviously think it is feka. Try Andhra food you'll know what spice is. Even out simple rasam is full of pepper and flavour but the spicy are different from the north doesn't mean it's feka
Thankfully this time they included Vivek! Becoz I think only he is the one in entire ok tested team jisko thodi bohot knowledge hai Japanese and Korean cheezo ki. And after him I think Rohit ko bhi hai thodi knowledge! May be they both together should do the next video in this series.
10:53 b'coz of sesame oil, fish sauce, oyster sauce, shrimp paste, soy sauce (different types), Gochujang(korean chilli paste), Doenjang(soybean paste) and many more condiments they used to make their sauces, soups and other dishes
this video was really satisfying ,there wasnt any misconception unlike many videos i watched,,just few things i wanna add for better experience of eating korean food... refrain from ordering gyeran mari unless you really want to eat omlette from an expensive korean restro ,, jjigae is korean word for stew,, so sundubu or soondubu jjigae is super soft tofu stew same with kimchi jjigae which canbe called kimchi curry ,,, do not forget to mix well all the items or ingredients given in your bibimbab bowl start with breaking the yolk of poached egg served on top to sauces , veggies till rice. Instead of putting the stew on rice try dipping spoonful of sticky rice into the stew then eat. ( you can use spoon to eat rice and chopstick to put your side dishes on spoonful of rice or direct into mouth.) one thing they didnt try in main course is tteokboki, you can say it is a rice cake curry , i once tried it without rice , didnt like the taste , it tastes better when paired with steamed (sticky) rice. bibimbab is also fine but then its a lot of flavour all together. but you can try and see if it suits your taste buds.
Guys yaar😂 My maa is sitting in front of me and I just clicked on the video and within just 30 secs, that sound! Oh lord. Then I just casually kept my phone in front of her so that she could see what actually I’m watching 😓. Anyway. Let me resume.
Very nice video , congrats boys . 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Your next challenge should be explore South Indian cuisine ( Karnataka, Andhra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala ) all these states have different approach to cooking and so flavourful but Wht it’s not is fika…. Explore the cuisine and then make statements pls ..❤❤❤
Since it's bibimbap i suppose that sauce 10:20 is Gochujang and it is actually not palatable for us, Indians. And for how to eat bibimbap - you should mix everything in the bowl first and then eat :)
In South Korea there is no concept of veg foods. They always eats non veg. So the veg dishes in this video are not actually authentic Korean food. It's just customised for vegetarian Indians.
5:04 This is what happens when you pass out from the Instagram academy. No, Korea doesn't produce 90% of seaweed, there are bigger players like China, Indonesia.
Japanese ramen and Korean ramyeon are essentially different. Japan aims for depth of flavour with a very subtle broth in comparison to ramyeon which is more flavour & msg packed!
I always wanted to know what vegetarian dishes I could eat most food dishes and videos are always targetted towards non veg peeps feeling so happy that I found this video
The basic smell you get from any type of Korean food is of Cham Giruem(Sesame Oil) and Sesame Seeds.. and Next time Bibimbaap khaoge toh mix karlena achhe se.. nahi toh that is not anything but something normal 😂
Hi Bhai once come to Telangana and eat Telangana authentic food then you know how much spicy food are eating by south region of India. Once try elipaya karam
It's interesting in almost all North india based videos or content creators , I have heard then mentioning that South flavor profile is mellow. Well if you have tasted only one style of dosa and idli, which you guys assume are only kind of food in South, then who can blame u 😅
Not our fault cos our north Indian food palette which is mostly ruled by Punjabi , mughlai cuisine is not accustomed to south Indian flavors! Only Dosa & Idli is softer version of south Indian flavors which got popular here esp in Delhi.
One thing what I love to eat in Korean restaurant is a chicken sizzler and put all the side dishes on the napa cabbage along with the chicken sizzler. That’s wonderful bite 😅

They don't use garM masala in south indian cooking fir everyday meals
kanishk is vegetarian otherwise would have asked him to try Guntur chicken , I’m surprised that they did not like bibimbap, it’s my go to meal.
@@dss8983who told you im SI my food is incomplete without gram masal come Bangalore I ll show one on one masala dar food

Even in Assam, "bhat khala ne" is a staple small talk question which literally translates to have you had rice
I in the whole video "did he said corndog Or condom".😂
I heard condo. Nepali people know it.
@@gokudon18 Korean pronounciation maybe..?
5:44 koreans eat alot of meat (beef, chicken, pork) so that's their protein source. korean diet is actually very well balanced
