Origami Ninjatō Katana Sword

- [Low Intermediate] How to fold an origami Ninjato Katana Sword and how to flick it. From one square no cutting or taping! If flicks well vertically... bonus points for being able to catch it by the handle. The sword in the intro I folded from a 24-inch square of foil paper whose white side was painted black. For the tutorial I used a 12-inch square of origami paper. To make a large sword that is sturdy, I recommend using heavy duty paper (maybe even cardstock). Disclaimer: This sword does not really cut vegetables and the blood on my hand in the outro was ketchup. I wrote script for the intro with my friend, Miy'ala.

I have been watching your videos since years and I love them all - I just love your creative work.
I just wanted to inform you, just as you have created the Origami Soccer Player collaborating with an Indian I suppose, I , also from India, have designed an Origami Soccer Goalkeeper! And for the goalkeeper, I have used the same technique as you had used in your Origami Surfer design.
Cool! I don't think I have tried that, but I've done a bunch of other designs of people doing things using that technique.

You mean which one's people would like me to teach? I've already taught some models from A&A and I'm reluctant to teach more because I want there to be a reason for people to purchase the book, and more to the point.... I have hundreds of new models that I want to finesse and teach so that's really my priority. But thank you for your idea and I'll keep it in mind.
