thanks for the great video, tip 3 has been a massive help. i run into problems when trying to put the screw holes in multiple implant unit bridges, as there doesnt seem to be a option for adding attatchments to them. do you have any advice?
Are those scanned in custom abutments or scanned in TI bases? If so go under Scan body in the order form and select manual placement of screw channels.
@@paulwthomson if you export the screw channels and use to subtract at the same time it will not work. Export the screw channels individually, close the holes and save individually. Then use them as attachments individually to create the holes.
I have a question you have a case with Mis scan flag and I want to use dess analogs , if I do this protocol how I know that the analog are in the correct place ?
Good question. What you can do is to align the scan flags and use the OEM analogs, then save the scene. After that use it with Dess analogs, export only the Dess analogs. Open the MIS scene and import the Dess analogs into the scene as a generic mesh. That way you have a guarantee it works with that system (MIS). I hope that helps.
The protocol it works but the problem is that you cant control were the two scan flags makes the connection with the platform. For example if the X scan flag is 10mm and the Y scan flag is 5 mm how can you check the correct place of the analog.@@masterdentaltechnician1914
I do not but let me look into that since it's bothering me as well. Also the filename gets very long in Exoxad and some mills cannot handle that many characters
Yes. Under \DentalDB\icons change out the BottomLogo.Dark file with your Logo (PNG). In the CAD module under \DentalCADApp\icons change out the BackgroundImage as a PNG. Make sure the software is closed; otherwise, you cannot make changes. Make a copy of the original file.
Could you pls tell me how to scan deep post and core model or impression? I'm using cedu qscan. Somebody said scanning impression and model can be merge for full depth details for post.

@@masterdentaltechnician1914 the case is a 2x custom abutments with 2 linked crowns overlay. all designed in 1 session

Thank you for the tips. Do you know how to make your output file to have universal numbering at the end instead FDI numbers in Exocad?

Great content
Do you have a step by step pdf of your number one hack?
Would a step-by-step guide for every video be a valuable thing for people?
It would help for the more complex tips!
when i did tip no.1 the analogue can in another coordination " not aligned with the implant "
Which version of XOCAD are you using? Some of these tips do not work in 3.2 anymore.

It is possible to make model analog for neodent multiunits?
Should be possible
Hello, on changing the implant type. Let say I am milling Arum blank, not Dess. Does it work for me too?
As long as you have the according library available, yes.
@@masterdentaltechnician1914 thanks but it did not work for me. The implant position changes when I select a new scanbody. Please help
Just click ok. Don't realign the scan flags
