These demo discs are dope! They're way awesome.
Oh my god... I had been looking for this exact DVD everywhere for honestly 7 years. Thank you so so so much for the ISO link! Eternally grateful.
Not a problem! I must return the favor for some of the captures you've made available; especially the HD science trailer. I have the Japanese 1997 Dolby Digital Experience disc on this channel as well if you're after that.
22:27 I wonder whether if the Dolby Surround Pro Logic II test’s audio track is flagged as stereo or Dolby Surround. Pro Logic II came out after DVD-Video was released, so there is no flag for it.
It's flagged as Dolby Surround. PLII is handled completely by the receiver, so no matter what DS version it is, the receiver will decode it in its own way.
love the behind the scenes stuff. really cool. i always wanted to know how some of those trailers were made !
2:11 behind the scenes making of dolby aurora my favourite 😘😚🥰😍🤩🤞👍✌️🤘🤟
I wish all the trailers had behind the scenes. Egypt would have been interesting, since I watched the trailer in theaters as a kid from 2004-2008.
Well, that would be interesting. I think those two were the only ones with behind the scenes featurettes because they were produced by yU+co. and the others most likely were not.
All Dolby needs now is to do a updated disk to include the Atmos trailers
Well, including all their trailers on a 4k BD in Atmos (or TrueHD Stereo for their Dolby Stereo and Dolby Surround trailers) would be nice, as they could also use their trailers to promote Dolby Vision, their HDR solution.
Well Dolby hasn't done any demo disc since 2002 and now Dolby Digital is under the Dolby Audio banner
How much money did it cost for you to get this DVD?
I think like $20 back in 2021?
@@homevideogalleryHa, I had no idea. Also, the disk says that there’s a 2.35:1 version of the City trailer. Is that actually true though? Because from all the uploads I’ve seen of it, they don’t look official.
What I find hilarious is that the Enlighten trailer is under the game trailers section.
What game had this trailer????
Some Xbox games, as the Xbox was capable of real-time Dolby Digital 5.1 encoding in games.
SSX 3 has DTS Interactive real-time surround encoding, but from what I'm aware of, there are some drawbacks to it.
Y cuanto va a hacer el disco demo whalkthourgh de dolby atmos desde 2010 a 2019
Where did you get the DVD?
I got it on eBay.
@@homevideogallery My friend has always wanted to see what everything on this DVD looked like, and he's pretty happy you got it and uploaded it. Also, at 2:28, it's the man behind a most of the sound design for logos himself, Marco D'Ambrosio.
Sounds good.
I updated the description with a disc image if you are interested.
how old is this dvd? it looks like from the early to mid 2000s.
It's from 2002, as the link to the Internet Archive in the description says.
