So sad seeing how hopeful Chris and Adriana were when they found out he was getting made. Adriana talks about getting out of their dungy apartment and Chris making something out of himself but it just ends up ruining both of their lives
Let’s be honest, they could have bought a house or rented a nicer place if they weren’t spending wads of cash on heroin & cocaine. Chris was never a dealer so it’s not like he got free drugs (he was even ripped off once), plus he has to kick up 6000 a week to Paulie. It seems to me that Jackie Jr. was meant to be less of a wannabe character initially,in season 2 he is in on sitdowns/meetings with his uncle Richie and noone bats an eye.
Making ceremonies have always varied from place to place, family to family, syndicate to syndicate, the 5 families in NY all do it slightly differently from one another, the Sicilians have their own ways, Regions and network membership all play a role, etc. There's never been uniformity cause it's always been clan/family based. What we know about em is actually really shakey, inconsistent, sometimes contradictory, and varies a lot. Some places it's still very organized and detailed while in others it's basically a formality that's more lowkey and basic. There isn't and never has been a right or wrong way to do it cause what we call the Italian/Sicilian mafia has never been a single organization and each one largely developed independently of the others in a more regional way throughout the peninsula and surrounding islands for hundreds of years, then in other parts of Europe, North, Central, and South America, etc. Plus, I don't think we can even see the whole table to know if there's a sword and gun there even if it was mandatory. Either way, in a lotta places through the years it's gotten less and less intricate and time consuming to minimize exposure for those involved and keep law enforcement from being able to easily recognize it, etc. Some will hold on to the ways they'd been doin it in their organization for years while in others it's less important than what it symbolizes I'm the first place. Kinda like how parts of the Catholic church and a lotta local Orthodox churches are still extremely ceremony heavy and stick to old traditions like their life depends on it, while other parts have taken a more stripped down approach with small congregations in storefronts and no budget to speak of or missionary huts in the middle of nowhere. Ones not really right or wrong they just emphasize different things.
Keeping it on the down-low is fine, but then Christopher immediately runs to a pizza joint all dressed up so that kind of defeats the purpose of downplaying the ceremony,
I wonder if the played down aspects of the ritual were deliberate since it was referenced in a later episode, or if someone later corrected the producers and they reference it as a correction (like the don wearing shorts thing)

wow! i had no idea Noah was the reason for the cut to black, it all makes sense now. He knocked Tony right the fuck out.
Your use of the imaginary word “irregardless” is maddening!
I encourage everyone to join Kino’s patreon and get made. Uploads of choice!!!
I know too much about extortion.
Another great vid! Regarding the Triboro Towers situation though i believe the books were closed then so even if Tony wanted Chrissy Made then it wouldn't be possible.
Tony even says the books are closed at that point in time.
That AJ kid...he almost had the makings of a varsity athlete
The blue yeti microphone, whatever happened there
Who’d have thought the bookie working for Chris was actually an undercover homicide detective from Baltimore?
Your videos are great. Your voice is fine. You analyze this show extremely well! Keep up the good work
I know its a month late, but you sound great man. I love listening to you talk
Another solid upload my bro 👍
Much appreciated!
Lmao you had me at the Noah part.
You can hear the crow when tony is laying in bed, after Chris rolled the s.u.v and passed away or well tony killed him
Don't be putting yourself down Kino one of the reasons I watch your video is your voice aside exceptional explanation of the episodes keep it going wiseguy.
“It’s a little bit of a cringy storyline”
*does the most cringe joke ever*
This was the beginning of the end for Christopher and Adrianna...their fates were sealed, and Eugene's for that matter, in this episode. The making scene showed what an amateur crew the Jersey boys were. All front, no real tradition. Such a sad episode.
the fact the guy has been to jail is actually more reason to become a snitch rather than die in jail, everyone says they could handle it until they're locked in that cell in the dark without a sound,it really can drive you crazy, you're either free labor or they put you in solitary
Borko better look out.... Kino’s coming.
Maybe they can work out some type of power sharing plan, although I hear that’s not all it’s cracked up to be.
What’s past is the past, let it go. Things are going good now
"irregardless" ain't a word pimp
Jackie Jr and that scrabble game LOL
It seems to me that Jackie Jr. was meant to be less of a wannabe character initially,in season 2 he is in on sitdowns/meetings with his uncle Richie and noone bats an eye.
They do comment on it though whenever he tries to butt in.
Me seeing the thumbnail: "In the museum of noses there goes de focken Mona Lisa"
3:16 dude from the wire 😃
Great vid as always, Keens.
Thanks 👍
Keens that's a nickname his real name is keenorelli
That Tribera Towers comment....😂😂😂
keep up the great videos... at $1 a month this is a steeeeeeal
Don't pay for free things.
So far, it looks like AJ has the makings of a varsity athlete!
STOP SAYING "IRREGARDLESS" PLEASE, you're not Paulie Walnuts
Fortunate son is such a fitting title. Further proof how well thought out this tv Show was
Great job on season 2. Mic sounds great!
Keeping it on the down-low is fine, but then Christopher immediately runs to a pizza joint all dressed up so that kind of defeats the purpose of downplaying the ceremony,
Loved the Noah punching Tony's lights out reveal. I never put that together.
You forgot to talk about Christopher hitting up the pizza parlor as soon as he was made, and getting free sodas.
I wonder if the played down aspects of the ritual were deliberate since it was referenced in a later episode, or if someone later corrected the producers and they reference it as a correction (like the don wearing shorts thing)
I don't know if you are looking for sympathy sweety but your voice was one of the reasons why I subbed to this channel.
Kino was made, the Blue Yeti wasn't
