    When it is perceived that there is no God above the state, the state becomes god (By definition, an idol, a false god)-the highest authority in the lives of those governed.

    With his transhumanist tendencies Elon Musk is rapidly becoming something akin to Mr House from Fall Out New Vegas.

    I've thought the same thing about Vivek & Elon. I don't think they're controlled opposition, we've just seen them become awake in real time. It was unsurprising to see the Daily Wire be controlled opposition. I think because they came out of no where so quickly. My immediate thought was "who's funding them?"

    I think this is the first time that I've heard someone else outline that the fundamental difference between right and left ideologies are either their alignment or resistance to reality & nature.
    The right does its best to work within ideas that "flow with nature/reality" while the left does their best to reject, deny, overcome reality & nature. This works at literally every level where right & left ideologies diverge.
    One is always evaluating the world we live in and considering how we can best work in accordance with nature, and the other is always considering how to best mitigate, circumvent, or outright reject reality & nature.
    Think about it: abortion, transgenderism, egalitarianism, immigration (race & homogeneity), human nature & genetics, God, etc.

    Elon Musk, like Donald Trump, is bereft of Christ. They both need grace and both need Christ as savior and Lord. While both certainly should be commended for their promotion & support of the free markets, as well as for freedom of speech, that is essentially it. Neither of these men are Christians.

    I’m surprised Charles Haywood (who is Orthodox and only considers reformed people as Christian in the same sense that Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses are considered Christians) was welcomed on this show. Pretty shocking in light of this show’s multiple videos maligning Orthodoxy. Kudos for putting aside prejudice.

    • @lausdeo4944
      @lausdeo4944 24 дні тому

      I think that's a bit unfair both ways. Both Haywood and Right Response are comparative moderates in their critiques of the other religious position.
      More importantly, they correctly see each other as necessary allies.

    • @cassidyanderson3722

      @@lausdeo4944 Joel did a three part series in which he called the Orthodox idolaters and heretics. Haywood, in order to be Orthodox in good standing, accepts the Synod of Jerusalem, which anathematizes John Calvin and his teachings. He would also participate in the Sunday of Orthodoxy each year, during which he himself (as part of the congregation) anathematizes Calvin by name. Regardless, I think it’s a good thing that the two of them could have a good faith dialogue about shared interests. You don’t see many Orthodox Christians willing to do that these days out of fear of being labeled an ecumenist.

    Lol. Hahaha. Hee hee. The moon landing hoax is not a conspiracy theory though. It’s just a lie. No one has been to the moon. There is certainly not a chance anyone is going to “Mars.” They would have to get through the firmament. Anyway, God’s word says the moon is a light which he put in the sky to rule the night, not a dusty rock which reflects light from the sun. (Genesis 1:16)

    • @patrickc3419
      @patrickc3419 Місяць тому +3

      The moon is (without question) a celestial, solid body in the universe. (Psalm 8:3. Psalm 104:19. Psalm 136:9, among others).
      The “glow” or shine that we observe from the moon is due to our sun (which is actually a star), certainly. In His infinite wisdom and handiwork, God used and still uses His created elements to utilize each other, starting when He created the heavens and the earth approximately 6,000 years ago.
      But yes, 12 men have walked on the moon; the last being in 1972.

      Molly, are you able to share, specifically, how the moon has it’s own light? So the moon does not reflect light from our sun?
      I guess ultimately what I am asking is, so the moon does not even exist?
