Nice tips! Kinda expensive, but for "washing" there is a foam called "Nilaqua" that is used in old folks' homes and by festival-goers, travellers and hikers etc. who can't or don't have shower access. Hope the recovery goes well.
I have seen a few vids like this and a lot of other people going for this surgery have taken loads of things with them as well. I guess its best to be safe rather than sorry
