I watched this man called Cameron Rieker on youtube who had this video called "A complete guide to Catholic dating 2024) .... and he gave me great advice that I forgot about.... If you are struggling with insecurity, control, and sorrow for being single and not having success with marriage.... you need to ask God for "Holy Indifference" and surrender your entire life to God and ... imo, keep doing it, everytime those annoying thoughts of you being sad cause you're not married or being jealous, keep surrendering those thoughts to God. Ask for true joy and acceptance for God's will.

Thank you so much! The journey of growing in the Catholic faith can seem both exciting and overwhelming but I have some ideas that might help! Prayer is really important, which I am sur eyou already know but I would begin with simple prayers like the Rosary and/or Liturgy of the Hours. If you’re unsure where to start, just talk to God in your own words or use scripture and meditate on it. Go to Mass as often as possible, not just on Sundays. You might find it helpful to follow along with a missal or an app to understand the prayers and readings better. Read the Bible, Fr. Mike Schmitz does the Bible in a year podcast which is great. Otherwise the Psalms and Proverbs are a great places to start. Study the Catechism, it is a rich resource for understanding the beliefs and teachings of the Church. You don’t have to read it all at once, but it’s great to refer to when you have questions about the faith. Catholic Answers is also a great resource But just remember that faith is a journey, not something that happens all at once. It’s okay to have questions or not understand everything immediately. St. Faustina was my confirmation saint. I would like to see a remake of the Things to know when attending your first Mass video. The original had a very bad echo in it. I just attended my first Mass in July, it’s almost like a different Religion altogether coming from a UCC church.
Cohabitation doesn't work because people in the relationship aren't on God or bringing God into the relationship. Talk to God and also read Proverbs, Colossians, and Ephesians, and then cohabition can work.
I have a disability and can't go to the church. Every day I feel guilty for it. Therefor I dedicated my life to Jesus Christ through Mary according to the books of Louis the Montfort. And watch the daily mass online. Is this enough?
What do you think about kids being able to create any type of account, should there be a consent age. Per say UA-cam, X, Instagram... or should it be better overlooked....
They must he excommunicated. A priest at my local parish said that anyone who has voted in support for Prop 3 in Michigan, are excommunicated, must go to the Bishop, and are not allowed to receive communion.
They're already automatically self-excommunicated, and they know it. They're not even trying to be real Catholics, They're trying to undermine the faith and the bishops are willfully letting them.

But as you must know, in the United States the episcopate is divided on the denial of communion. Some of the most liberal leaning members of the clergy, even cardinals, have refused doing so, while others have done it, fortunately.

Why yoga? I get that Hindus who devote their lives to yoga, worship Hindu gods, but it's not a form of divination in any way. It's a very healthy exercise that incorporates healthy deep breathing with stretching and weight bearing exercise. Not everything that comes from another culture that's tied to another religion is demonic. You're literally saying that in front of a salt lamp. There's no reason a very healthy exercise means you're participating in Hinduism any more than a salt lamp that ionizes air means you're cleansing your chakras or warding off evil spirits with a lamp.
that is occultism, Father Glas, an ex-exorcist from Europe had already had to help such leaders who have dealt with yoga chakras etc.. These people had very big spiritual problems because of this reason

Notice when she read from the catechism yoga wasn't mentioned? She just grouped it into divination which has nothing to do with yoga, and isn't practiced in yoga. I completely recognize scripture says it is a good thing to confess your sins to one another so we may be healed "James 5:16", that's not my issue, we should be confessing to someone. But if I've confessed my sins directly to God myself, as I should, and let's say I have also gone to the person I've wronged to confess. Why does the priest say we have to pray certain prayers for forgiveness if God has already forgiven us directly when we ask him? "1 John 1:9" tells us this, and Christinas all have the Holy Spirit to forgive sins, because the Bible calls us to forgive each other, "Colossians 3:13". I would love an explanation from a Catholic perspective, or even maybe some protestants who agree with the Catholics on this issue. Thanks!
