Rented a 200cc motorcycle last year in Bogota Colombia. Best experience.
Awesome....I lived in Medellin for a summer.
Bet that was a great summer. Wish I was there longer!
@@SIMONGRAYY It was nice. I also spent a few days in Bogota and in Cartagena. Very nice.
How much was the bike rental? And where did you get it from?
Moto Rent Medellin. It was about $33 USD/day, don't remember the COP conversion at the time. Be warned, they held onto my security deposit for a couple months until I started a CC dispute but aside from that hiccup it was a great bike and a pretty smooth rental.
Hey I'm in medellin right now and thinking about renting a bike. I want to check out the hills how do you go about doing that?
Late reply, hopefully this helps someone in the future. Rented the bike near Las Lomas in Medellín, then went to the Rio Negro área towards Guatapé (sadly ran out of daylight and didn't make it all the way). Also spent some time just riding up whatever hills I say around the outskirts of the city to see what I could find. Happy travels!
How much was it to rent a motorcycle and any place to rent?
I used "Moto Rent Medellín" and it was about $30-35 a day if I recall. I'd recommend shopping around, there were some issues with my credit card deposit not getting refunded on time. There are several bike rental places in the city.
Tip: if the site is in Spanish, you're probably getting a better deal.
can you use a rental to pass the test in the usa?
Probably, I borrowed a bike to pass the test. My "learner's" permit didn't require any actual driving and I came back the next day with a borrowed Vespa and passed the actual license exam.
