Hey Bench: Thanks a lot for putting this up. You have just saved me a 3 hrs. trip to the nearest Yamaha Dealer to fix this issue. My CVT Belt was changed 7000 Kms ago, but I guess the Tech failed to re-set the Indicator when he was done? Anyway, thanks to you I was able to do it myself (in about 5 mins.) because the Users Manual that I have only shows the V-Belt Indicator Position on the Dash... Do you still have your Maj?
My dad still has the Majesty in California. I moved to the east coast for school.
bench175 I traded in my Yamaha Majesty 400cc for Yamaha Tmax 530cc. Tmax 530cc is so amazing very nippy.

I try this, but on my Yamaha doesn't work? Why? Do you have a idea?
Top Tip: After I had removed the cowling, the little white plastic clips broke without my realizing and the cowling fell off...never to be seen again. $100 later, I bought a new cowling and have it cable tied in under the seat. It looks the same, but will not fall off.

Mine went skipping Cross the road so i feel you pain only i got mine back just missing a few pieces
It's REAL IMPORTANT not to have clip apart for longer than 10 secs. I had it apart longer and the Vbelt Warning stayed on.
