Rushnychok- Ukrainian Music and Friends

This is a newly re-edited and condensed version of the film Rushnychok- Ukrainian Music and Friends.. There are many popular bands playing Ukrainian folk music in North America. Rushnychok- is the most enduring, and perhaps the best known,, loved and fondly remembered. This is remarkable because Rushnychok has not performed regularly since the early 1980s. The film (first released as a half-hour OMNI TV documentary in 1995) presents Rushnychok's history and focuses on two appearances by the original four: one in 1993; the second in 1994. Rushnychok's five albums (63 songs) are now available on i-Tunes and 14 other sites. (Like us and tell your friends).

Since you were nice enough to comment on my video of Ewhen, I thought I'd return the favour, Nasha. Or should I call you Ms. Kasha. Just kidding. Did you shoot the video of Rushnychok performing? Is there more? I am very sorry I never had a chance to see them as a group. I have a brief interview of Ewhen on tape. Actually I was just asking a favour of him. Also more of that performance. Not too crazy of the other vocalist with him there. In your video you sure can pick out Ewhen's voice harmonizing. A really nice guy to talk to. Cheers
