@@bourbonbill Your Sagamore reviews got me to give Sagamore and now other ryes a try. I've tried 4 Roses SiB, Thomas H. Handy, and Sazerac 18, and did not care for the rye spice on them. I just assumed all ryes were like that. But I see stuff like Sagamore and JD SBBP Rye get favorable reviews, and I was surprised by Sagamore. I picked up 3 of the Manhattan Finish Sagamore, so I'm eyeing a JD SBBP Rye to try.
Great comparisons! And hey, finally a video where I've actually tried all the bottles! I tried 1oz of RHF at a bar and I was very underwhelmed. It is good, dont get me wrong, but for secondary? Please... Just slightly better than Blanton's. By 10% maybe. None of us will ever see it at retail unless you win some sort of lottery. JJB is excellent. When the hype started a couple of years ago, I bought several online for $59. No regrets. Great bourbon that I would pay up to $70 for. I've tried several Benchmark products and I really dont like them. They come off so bright and young...no depth. Definitely get the young grain note. If you are a collector or connoisseur, I think you have to really be in love with BT to consider having any of those in your collection. Cheers everyone.

I found a RHFs by pure luck for $79 last year. It’s the best of the standard BT MB2 by a country mile. Let’s face it, we all want it to try it and to collect. JJB is a great bottle as well. Cheers any thanks BB!

Had a pour of rockhill farms at a bar. So glad I never paid the ridiculous prices I have seen it for ($250-$399). Its good ( much better than blantons ) but I wouldnt pay a penny over msrp for it. I really dont see why people go so crazy for this stuff. Give me a knob creek 12 that I can easily find for $65 and I’ll be a happy camper.

PA had 2 recent drops of RHF for $50. I missed the second one by less than a minute, but was able to pick up a Weller SiB for $50.🤷♂

A couple of Rockhills were selling in the UK for 200 British dollhairs but I passed. Didn't reckon it would've been a good buy considering its MSRP.
200 British is more than 200 is clams so yeah I would be a hard pass on that as well

It comes usually once a month or so if you go to a premium store on drop day you can usually get one but the mini came from online
