I've seen so many ad - sponsored videos working with HelloFresh and wanted to see if it was actually as good as people say! So I ordered a weekly box, completely unsponsored to give you a full review! Let me know what other overly sponsored products you'd love to see me test!!

Jaz, the only things that go in the fridge are the items in the bag of ice! That's why they are separated. The rest stay in those bags so you have the correct items in the bag, ready (they do not need to be refrigerated). The garlic is separate because usually its needed for each meal. 💜
Also they give you way too much garlic😂
That's true but most of the time we refrigerate our vegetables even if they're not in the chill bags

Definitely overcomplicated hello fresh by taking it all out the bags 🙈 I just put all the bags in the fridge and then everything is easy to hand. Also you should complain about not receiving items, they'll often credit you a bit for another box 🙂
Came here to say the same thing, we never take bits out of the bags and tend to pop the meat in to the one it needs to be in. They always offer money off the next one if bits are miss which unfortunately is more often than it should be. Also the menu cards are often missing or wrong ones but not to much of an issue as its all on the app

There are these hair vitamins that I've seen people try or SHEIN and Function of beauty
The idea of the bags is they all have matching colour codes to each recipe with all the ingredients in each bag so you keep it all in bags and grab it out of the fridge, grab the meat etc and it's all ready to go. It's meant to be simple 😊 we love hello fresh in my house it has saved us money and wasted food and takes the issue of trying to think of what to have for dinner lol typically some recipes require basic pantry staple items so we just make sure we have the items in the house when we pick our recipes for the week or make sure to buy them 😊

As someone who religiously uses HelloFresh and Gousto, small things like flour and oils and potentially even vinegar, they expect you to have. The menu should say what parts aren’t included. Maybe the vinegar was meant to be but the menu will say. They deffo wouldn’t have included the flour though from my experience. Please try Gousto too!
usally its just salt/pepper/oil/sugar/butter that you need at home. they have sent me flour before for sure. (though I am in the US, i saw her recipe cards had nutrition where ours don't)
Our is the same, never have things like flour or oil. Normly get a little pack if vinegar though
I love my hello fresh boxes - I started during the first lockdown and I’ve gone from being frightened of cooking to absolutely loving it and now it’s a new hobby! 🤩 it’s a great way to build your confidence as well as mixing it up and trying new meals. I liked that you tried it unsponsored and still liked it as much as I do!

I've been using it for 4 weeks now and I really do recommend. I have the 5 boxes a week for 2 people plan and think it's worth the price
I bought a box of it and the food was really good. It's too costly for me personally to keep up, but when I'm financially in a better place I'll buy again.

I'm gonna be honest--Hello Fresh has been a LIFE SAVER during the pandemic. Having one less thing to worry about planning and shopping for and either taking the trip to the grocery store that risks me bringing virus home to my high risk 6 year old, or paying extra to have the same food delivered because I refuse to not tip the shoppers well for their time and risk. Portions are perfect, even for my husband, and I rarely spend more than 30 minutes prepping & cooking a meal. We have liked everything and loved most things we've tried & we have been using the service since May 2020. I will say, that I do t recommend separating the kits. The intention is that you put the whole bag in your fridge with everything you need for that meal, conveniently inside. It cuts down on prep time finding everything for a specific kit & you don't risk missing something and having to scramble to find it while your meal is over cooking or burning. I also love that we can use the compostable paper bag for our scraps while prepping. They very very occasionally forget ingredients. Make sure you contact them through the app to let them know & they will credit your account toward your next box.

What I did when I used to get Hello Fresh was the meals I really like or a part of the meal I really liked I would keep the recipe card and put it in a protective sleeve for a binder and pop it in a binder with my other recipes that way I’d always have it
I'm a visual person, so showing pictures of the menu what is what & seen how to do it its just brilliant

I bought on of these a few years ago and there was so much packaging and plastic it was definitely not eco friendly they have definitely improved maybe I'll buy another
It's still pretty bad. Had a three meal pack, and was quite disturbed at the amount of plactic pots and individually plastic wrapped items. For example, one of the meals required soy sauce to be used at two different stages of cooking, so they of course put that in two separate plastic pots each with just a splash of sauce in.
The nice thing with hello fresh is you can make the recipes again since they tell you the exact ingredients...I have found a few favorites over time that I still make...

The one thing I’ve found with HelloFresh is I open the bags and put things like onions and potatoes in the pantry, and other veggies in the crisper part of my fridge (carrots in a bag to keep them hard for longer!) otherwise you get some less than fresh food once you go to use each bag for the 2nd, 3rd, 4th day. I also actually get Dinnerly which is the cheap sister of marleyspoon and all the ingredients just come in the box so I’m used to separating out my veg and where to store everything

Hello Fresh normally supplies vinegar. I’m not sure about flour as we have never used it in any of our recipes. If you message them and say there were items missing or if it’s not fresh produce then they will refund you!
hello fresh is absolutely worth it. I love it so much. Just yesterday I cooked a hello fresh meal and It was delicious and very convenient. And I'm going to cook another hello fresh meal tonight. I absolutely recommend hello fresh to everyone.

I used dinnerly during the beginning of the pandemic when stores were empty. The portions are suggested portions sizes not the portion size we really eat. For 3 people I was buying 4 portions.

I thought about trying Hello Fresh but quickly realized it would not be a good choice for my family due to potential allergens.. but I was excited to see that their recipes are available online so I have tried several meals made with their recipes and food bought at our local supermarket. Not as convenient but they really do have some good recipes like Tuscan kale and chickpea soup and couscous with roasted tomatoes and asparagus and stuff.
You should try the dyson air wrap and give a review! I really want one but like watching reviews!

My husband and I subscribe to Chef's Plate. We don't use it as much now because we now subscribe to a monthly meat box,but we use the Chefs plate website to get the recipe ideas so we can shop for the ingredients and make it ourselves. I enjoy following the recipe and shopping for the ingredients

I tried Hello Fresh as well. I think is worth it. Maybe not as frequent as they 'recommend'. But once in a while, especially during the lockdown when we can't eat at a restaurant is very good.

I like the concept 😸 i loved it when it was just my little fam💗 then we had to move back into my parents basement trying to feed 9 people mostly adults 1 was not cost effective 2nd it took up to much fridge/frezzer space we still use the recipes we had and some we found online and just Taylor them to our family 💗💗😸

Hope you’re well... recently I’m meant to be doing my GCSEs... but obviously now they are “teacher predicted” but now I have loads of examsssss, like at least one exam per day... which counts towards my overall grade for my GCSEs.. and I’m really getting stressed and frustrated and I wanted to ask whether you had any tips on getting rid of stress? And trying to balance exam stress and relaxation? Only if you have some... Thanks jazzzzz love you loadsss!! 💞💕💕💕
Make a big old calendar with your exams on and plan what revision you need to do on all the days leading up to it. Revise in blocks (pomodoro technique is good for focus as you get breaks to check phone etc). Plan in your relax time as you know you’ve got your revision planned and out the way. It’s natural to stress but being organised helps take some of the panic away!
Plan your time well and make sure you fit in relaxation time each day. Exercise is great for de-stressing, so get out and get some fresh air when you can.

I have tried hello fresh and have also tried one called green chef. Portions tend to vary depending on the meals but they are good. It just gets really pricey after the promo code runs out. But I did enjoy it! Also would you share out those recipes because I would love to try them.
I like the idea of Hello Fresh and the like but I was disappointed to see the plastic wrapping - is it biodegradeable

It used to come all separate and just all in the box! Well mine did anyways and then the last two weeks were like all together in the package! They are really good! The portions are a good size to be honest, they are just REALLY expensive! :( we only had these because we got 4 weeks of reduced prices xxx

A couple of notes here please. Does Hello Fresh not list personal ingredients you will need on the menu. We use one of the competitors and they list it. As you noted your concerns in regards to portion size. How do you feel about the portion now since you and Nick have tried it.
My husband and I were looking for things to do as a couple being that this has been an issue due to the pandemic. We love these meals. We work together prepping the ingredients as well as cooking together. After our meal, we use a five star rating method. We have been using this company for about six months, so far only three meals has rated under four stars! We absolutely love this. Hope you and Nick enjoy them as much as we have.

The Hello Fresh packaging is so much better than the US. Also if you are missing items or recipe cards, just contact them and let them know. They are great and will refund the cost of the meal
