    We had that played at our wedding as our exit song after our vows. To this day, I think of my wedding day every time I hear it!

    I have been playing this song since I was very young, and I have NEVER been able to play 1:12. I come back to it every so often thinking "ok... this is the time" and it never is. Fantastic job!

    I love the Linus graphic on the side just jamming out. To me, this song signifies Christmas as much as Hans Gruber falling off Nakatomi Plaza. Christmas ain't Christmas without them.

    I love all kinds of pianos. I am a person that believes that there should be a piano in every room of the house. I know that there are many people who think that it's a weird way of thinking to have a piano in every room of a home but, all I have to say is "to each their own" !

    • @thatssoironic
      @thatssoironic 4 місяці тому +3

      That’s cool, perhaps a bit excessive but it’s your house. I go a bit lighter and say every HOME should have a piano. Every room is a bit much maybe

      every room having a piano would be a disaster. imagine hearing all those pianos playing at once

      @@shrekisbae21 Well, the idea of having a piano in every room of the house is that there are times that I get brain storms about piano music and I need a piano to sit down at within 5 to 10 seconds to practice the idea that has come across to me or otherwise I will forget. Also having a piano in every room of the house gives each part of that room its own character. Every piano sounds a little different that gives each piano its own character the way the piano sounds. But I do know what you're saying about if all the pianos were playing at once. All the pianos in my house would not all play at once because I am the only one that lives in my house. But anyway, thanks for the reply! It's interesting to hear peoples thoughts. But I do love a piano in every room of my home. It's fun!

      @@jkramer4716 it’s your house so you do as you please. It’d be fun trying each piano out to find the one I liked the best

      @@thatssoironic Yeah, its fun for sure especially all hours of the night. Sometimes I get into a lot of really good playing at late night. For some reason my thoughts and spirits on how I play the piano are better at late night more so than durning the day time. The spirits of planying the piano come out at late night for sure!

    Great job!! I will say one thing. The fingering on the right hand is totally wrong. The notes are right:) but the fingers used to walk up and down that chord are wrong. But one you master the correct fingering for the notes you’ll see that your grove is much smoother and less choppy

    This is great but honestly you should pedal down on the notes to give it some reverb and sustain. It’s too staccato in my opinion. You nailed all the notes though. Very impressive. I’m gonna tackle some of these songs for the holiday season.

    • @phoenixshade3
      @phoenixshade3 8 місяців тому +3

      This is absolutely the wrong song to use the sustain pedal very much, if at all. That bass line turns to mud if you sustain it.
      Sure, there are places that the playing could use a bit more legato. But not sustain. That would utterly ruin it.
