Woah, this saved me. I'm part of a mountain rescue team and everytime we came back from a mission my feet were dead. My boots are great but damn, after a long hike downhill I wanted to amputate my toes. Having my boots WELL RELACED and making sure that my heels didnt move changed everything. Thank youuu!
Back from a 4 day 85 km hike in Ireland Dingle Way...lost both my big toenails. I see this video is a year old, did you do the hiking boot fit video? I'd like to assess the ones I have. Two different styles that feel comfortable while walking, but obviously were not what I needed on this trip! Love the re-lacing tips, and walking mechanics.
i wish i saw this before i hiked snowdon today lol. The jamming really slowed me down when i walked downhill and became painful. When i got the chance i walked backwards which helped relieve the pressure of the feet and toes
Going to try this for my hike tomorrow. I am struggling with toe jamming. I got a wide toe box shoe to protect from blisters and toe jamming is now my new problem. Thanks for explaining this so clearly
