Thanks so much! September 15-21, although the weather is different every year. We had no rain but it was suddenly very cold. The beginning of the month I was in Switzerland (nearby) and it was hot summer weather. Then suddenly a few weeks later fall/winter weather hit. Layers in the mountains are always necessary. The good thing about when I went (mid September) is that there were very little crowds. I would go again when I went or a few weeks sooner! happy travels :)

We we're there a few years back. We had a rented Fiat 500L. It was perfect for the mountain roads. You definitely don't want anything in the big range. Some of those turns are very tight. But saying that, there is no problem driving the roads. You'll love it, and the views are breathtaking. Safe travels

Do you think a 10 day trip to Italy- Flying to to Venice spending two nights there then going to the Dolomites for two nights, then Florence for two nights, then Rome for two nights then Almafi coast for two nights and flying out of Naples is a good plan?

    • @MahnaGhafori

That's so exciting! I am not sure unfortunately as I wasnt there in that time, but it should be the start of a good hiking season if the snow has melted! It is always questionable in the mountains. Last week of June would probably be a better bet at summer conditions!
