- Samantha Power was the former US ambassador to the United Nations under Barack Obama.

She was in the job at the height of the Syrian Civil War and was intimately involved in President Obama’s deliberations over whether to bomb the Assad regime in response to chemical attacks.
She has also been a journalist, human rights activist, author and foreign policy adviser.
She talks to Krishnan about disagreeing with the former President, her reflections on the conflict in Syria and why she is an idealist in an ever-changing world.

Samantha Powers was so eager to begin missile attacks into Syria that she opposed getting the approval of Congress. It’s also been reported that she has praised the disaster which became of Libya in the name of making “democracy”. She also defends what America had done to Iraq. With little reflection, her actions speak louder than words. War war war.

one idealist woman that caused so much pain and problems. Be an idealist in your home. One single person can cause so much pain, is incredible, we must know who is governing us, because if the people that govern us are ignorant or even worse criminals, we are doomed. After all the mistakes she did, she is still talking and giving interviews....but what goes around comes around.

Unfortunately in Syria, US backed the opposition whish is ISIS against the government that is very corrupt. The Syrian people are the ones who suffered, it was better if they were left alone living in peace under the corrupt government.... you just created a disaster in Syria
