hello, im a retroachievement hunter who grew up mostly with snes, thus, i missed the nes hype back in the day. Thanks a lot for sharing amazing content, so i can expand my nes gaming library, not only with mainstream games, but with some hidden gems too, and hopefully, have a blast from the past while getting new achievements. Keep up the great work and thanks again!
This video was AI-generated, wasn't it? The incredibly forumulaic script gives it away - "X-game was released in X-year. In X-game, you take control of X-character, and your goal is to do X. The gameplay involves doing X against X enemies. The game received praise for X, but some criticism for X. Overall, X -game is considered an underrated gem by many." Also giving it away is the stiff narration and the constant mispronunciation, along with the factual errors (the Captain America entry talked ONLY about the arcade version and didn't bother mentioning that the NES version is completely different and is a side-scroller instead of a beat-em-up).
Yo this is great an en point! This is an Indian accent so I don't think it's AI but close enough, this video and your comment has inspired me to create my own AI listicle channel, and I will always credit you for it! 😂
Flying warriors. One of the best nes games nobody ever played. Amazing music. Combines tons of different game styles. An amazing game. Ticks me off that no ost videos or nes game video acts like this game never existed.
I can´t belive none of these underated nes games lists has *Uforia* in there... Its in my opinion one of the best NES games out there but it seems that no one has ever played it, i always wondered why. Because if they did i bet it would be on thier top 10 lists... it´s THAT good.
It’s been hard to find a good version of it to play. There seems to be a problem in programming it that messes with the soundtrack. I’ve listened to soundtrack on YT, and the one on the copy of the game I have is very discordant.
I loved River City Ransom as a kid and it led my Dad and I playing hours and hours at a time of Streets of Rage 2 for Sega a few years later…fun times!
Had a copy of Blades of Steel. The whole family loved it as did most of our friends. As a side note there is one lost gem of a game for the NES that is a brilliant lost game. Mighty Bomb Jack. It was an odd platformer that challenged players to find ways past all sorts of dangers and obstacles while shifting regularly between side scroller then vertical roll up or roll down game.
I've been playing Gun Nac this week, while it is obviously a product of its era and somewhat bound to the limitations of the NES hardware, it is still also timeless, pushes the limits and has a tremendous sense of pace and vigour. After watching this video I feel I have to find out more about Deja Vu
That was not the Correct version of Captain America and the Avengers for the NES that was the super Nintendo version. The NES version was good but not that good
I have to say i underestimated nes. So many nes games are just great titles, but there is clear difference between early and late games. Late games have often awesome artstyles that hide nes shortcommings, and gameplay comparable to many snes games
Top 50 games where you have to save a kidnapped person. Isnt it strange how almost every game back in the days you had to save your kidnapped gf, daughter, friend or whatever.
Some of the release years are way off. A Boy and his Blob and Blades of Steel (which is pretty much a classic and I don't consider it being underrated btw) from 1998?
Talks about a sequel of Darkwing duck in the future? Then it won’t be a licensed Nintendo game, as Nintendo stopped that in 1994 with Wario’s woods being their last official licensed game.
More than 350 games were released in the US and Captain America you showed is not the NES version, as well as saying and spelling Whomp'em being a play on the word Wampum, maybe wanna edit those out.
Im sorry but Darkwing Duck is not an underrated game ! A lot of kids included me played it back in the day and it was really popular cause of animated tv show which also was pretty cool and popular. Duck Tales also is not an underrated game maybe it wasnt THAT popular as Darkwing Duck or Chip & Dale but it is definitely not an underrated game of its time.
Yeah. Captain America and the Avengers for the NES is trash and for whatever reason you used video from the arcade release. Maybe do your homework a little better.

Glad you enjoyed!
@@marvelousgamers6679you made a mistake at 17:32 since that's the arcade version and not the nes version.
That's not the NES version of captain America and the avengers
Yeah, but you don't expect an AI-generator to know that.
I was about to say something similar... in fact, I don't even think there IS an NES version of Captain America and The Avengers :S
@@MagneticSymbioteThere is, you can only play as Captain America or Hawkeye

good job AI ....... captain america and the avengers ?
The most underrated NES game of all time is Ninja Turtles 3: Manhattan Project. Nobody played it but its a classic.
Good thing we now have the Cowabunga Collection! 🥷 🐢
I played the hell out of it. Rented it all the time from a mom and pop video store.

text (i mean script not a voice) just for sure generated by AI.
"Yoso mite Sam" that is a new one.
It’s the British pronunciation, like “Nike” instead of “Ni-kee”

I loved Roller Games, River City Ransom, Shatter Hand, Bugs Bunny Blowout, Clash At Demonhead & Astyanax.
Glad to see Crystalis on your list. I owned it for several years and played it all the time. Great music and storyline, especially the cave musics.

I remember it being very good.

As someone who has played NES and SNES games all his life, i can say this is a really good list!!
Cool vid but that avengers was the arcade
Actually the one he showed was SNES. This being NES games, he should've shown the platformer version where you can only play as Cap and Hawkeye.
Love this game list! It is one of the most complete I've seen so far! Thank you!
I loved River City Ransom as a kid and it led my Dad and I playing hours and hours at a time of Streets of Rage 2 for Sega a few years later…fun times!

i love everytime shatterhand is mentioned, that is one of my favs game of all time
well said sir, what a good of compilation, especially Power Blade 2

17:45 "Captain America and the Avengers" was not NES. It was for Sega Genesis/Mega Drive, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Game Boy and Game Gear.
Actually, there's a version for the NES, but definitely not this one.
First time I've heard Plucky Duck called Pluck Ducky
The script was pretty obviously AI-generated. Possibly the narration was as well.
Blades of steel, crystallis and star tropics are the only games on the list I have played. Loved Crystallis and my mother loved Star Tropics.
Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout is a hoot, weird timing on attacks but tons of fun to plow through!
its one of those games you can beat if you have to kill am hour
me i would've included - pro wrestling, silent service, ice hockey, rescue the embassy mission and gemfire.
Felix the cat that's my fav

Now i play nes and snes. But in portugal sega was the bomb in the 80's and 90's
As far as I'm concerned, that bomb still hasn't detonated yet. Still the bomb then, still the bomb now!

This is a great video!
... That is NOT the NES version of Captain America and the Avengers. XD
I'm disappointed MC Kids didn't make this list. That, IMHO, is an unfairly underrated game on the NES.
Who could forget Pluck Ducky from Tiny Toon Adventures.
Why did you pick almost all titles that the AVGN covered? Why wouldn't you pick games that people don't actually know about?
That was not the Correct version of Captain America and the Avengers for the NES that was the super Nintendo version. The NES version was good but not that good

Tons of these games were/are not underrated. Title is misleading and somewhat of a clickbait.
Who framed Rodger Rabbit is a very good nes game
Yep, definitely better than *_Jackie Chan_* imo, lol :P
Good stuff!
Darkening duck Felix and tiny toons amazing games
More proof graphics aren't what makes a game good
These are all definitely underrated but many of them are extremely expensive too. Regardless, well done video with excellent information
Some are but honestly the best ones are under 25 bucks
@@commentresurrection1841 and this is why emulation is a thing
This is a NES list and yet you show the arcade version of Captain America and The Avengers
Some of the release years are way off.
A Boy and his Blob and Blades of Steel (which is pretty much a classic and I don't consider it being underrated btw) from 1998?
Who cares he's a marvelous gamer who's hard enough to understand with the accent

If I remember right it wasn't that it was necessarily a hidden gem or anything but rather that it just didn't sell as well as DuckTales.
Captain America and the avenger's the arcade version that you showed was not on the nes it was released on the snes and genesis
"The Blayer"
Yeah-so-mite Sam... lol
A lot of these games are some of the biggest games on the system. Far from underrated....
Only 350 nes games released in America......um no not even close
So many issues and errors in this video😂
These aren't really underrated games. In fact, most of them are highly regarded, as you would see by how much they sell for.
Captain America and the avengers was not a nes game. The graphics should have told you 😅
Im pretty sure the dude in Shatterhand is a he lol
