    i grew up on the Tyburn road next to the spaghetti junction & the canals were a great place to play

    The canal system should stretch all the way up to Scotland.. Its a great way to travel and hell of a lot cleaner than using our roads. It would probably reduce some of that flooding as all that rain water could keep them topped up.
