@@DukajaTV Yeah, I've seen the anime up to Season 4 in both English Dub and Sub, and I think Season 5 is still exclusively in Japanese because it's finale aired Sept. 25th, I think. I haven't yet seen the third film, "World Heroes Mission" but it might be available by the time you two finish Season 5.

Justin Briner, Midoriya's voice actor, is just perfect for these soft boy looking characters. His voice is golden in every anime that he plays in.

Deku’s voice sounding like a “main character” is very fitting. He’s a very plain protagonist, and the fact that this is occasionally brought up within the series itself is what I love about it.
Also, I wish All For One was in this.
Bakugo's dub voice is INCREDIBLE, that was just a weird example of him not yelling. Love his dub voice.

My Hero Academia is one of those rare animes that have an excellent sub and dub
i was overall pretty happy with how most characters sounded! mineta's voice, though it DID fit, hurts so bad. LOL

Yeah I could equally switch back and forth. Both have quality and fitting voice work.
But sub is slightly better than dub like sub = excellent, dub= pretty good

I understand the logic of thinking Kota is the little kid with the lisp, but he to my knowledge never knew Aizawa's name to mention orders from him.

Actually the easiest to get is the main trio (Deku, Todoroki and Bakugo), Uraraka Iida and Mineta (To be honest as much as I hated it, Mineta's voice in dub suits him)
The hardest, I'd give it to Ojiro and Shoji. Maybe because they haven't spoke much in the series that you couldn't get used to their voice even in Japanese dub.
I was expecting a "YOUNG MIDORIYA" from All Might

Aww damn I didn't get Ojiro either. Watched the first season in dub almost two years ago, the rest of the series in sub. The dub voices are fine honestly, the lines just sometimes sound way cooler in japanese in my opinion

While i prefer the Sub,
The Dub is generally pretty good. Especially All Might.
There are just some moments where characters like Deku dont sound as epic in their big moments in english.
I disagree and I tend to see this statement about a lot of main character English voice actors. When deku is fighting muscular and he says his little speech about what it takes to be a hero before his 100% smash Idc what u say it’s way better then the subbed. The subbed deku voice is to deep.

I like both the sub and dub, but there are a few dialoge tweaks that make Bakugo more likable in the dub, or maybe its just that there is less of a rasp for him in the dub, idk- Keep up the good work!
Todorokis dub voice is BERTHOLDT from AOT

Which is funny because Todoroki's japanese actor is also in AoT. He voices Eren. There's actually a lot of MHA-AoT cast crossover.

@@DukajaTV I am a dub watcher so each of them sound how they are supposed to for me.
Deku's dub voice is good. The dub in general is good imo. But while I do like deku's dub voice, I feel it isn't rough enough at times if that makes sense. Like, when comparing the way dub voice and sub voice says "smash" sub has a roughness to it take gives it more intensity and makes it much better imo

There are no pauses in japanese pronunciations like the english language. All the letters are pronounced for equal time without stressing anything.example Ai-za-wa.this is not tough,just try calling people like they call in the anime.
scary how i have never watched the dub but actually got all of them except ojiro cause i remember the dialogues with the exact scene and whoever said it.... wish i was this good in remembering my notes

My Hero Academia is one of the most popular dubs for a reason, the casting was almost perfect. Casting the right actor for the characters is extremely important. There's a lot of really good dubbed anime but so many anime fans insist on watching it in Japanese. It's sometimes annoying when people say that Japanese voice acting is better than English voice acting. It's not, it's just different. I do understand why they think that though. When you are constantly hearing Japanese voices it sounds a bit weird to hear the English voices. It's the same way the other way around. I watch most anime dubbed and when I'm looking at clips from anime and the characters are speaking in Japanese I immediately click off the video, I can't listen to the Japanese voice of characters I know for their English voice. The strongest examples of this are Fairy Tail, Fullmetal Alchemist, My Hero Academia, Bleach, and Yu Yu Hakusho.
Whos met the real voice MHA actors? I have. I met and got autographs from Justin Briner, Luci Christian, Christopher Sabat, Clifford Chapin and the voice actor for Shoto. I got a selfie with Christopher Sabat, Luci Christian and Justin Briner. I saw more voice actors but couldnt get their autographs.

I actually always thought Deku’s voice sounded identical to the sub. Then again all the voices match really well. You both did great though. Did you know Bakugous voice actor also plays Connie Springer in the dub of Aot? But the Aot dub is a curse and should never be watched.

i have to say this....I DON'T LIKE DUBS IN GENERAL, i don't watch dubs at all, BUT, i like midoriya's voice in the dub, mostly bc midoriya's voice in the sub the first season when i just started my hero...gave me a literal headache, don't judge me, i wasn't a fan of my hero at that time, i became a fan since season 2
