Kenny Delmar later was a cartoon voice artist, even though he did not do that Looney Tunes character his blustery southern senator inspired- FOGHORN LEGHORN..
Delmar was very well known for UNDERDOG characters' voices, and TENNESSEE TUXEDO's characters, too. Steve Allen's brother Dayton Allen, no relation to Fred, also voiced characters on both UNDERDOG and TENNESSEE T, too.
Parker Fennelly the NEW ENGLAND small town rural farmer character was an actor who later became famous for one sentence-
    PEPPERIDGE FAHMMS REMEMBAHHS..

I"m convinced that the only time Fred Allen was every remotely funny was when he was "feuding" with Jack Benny. Beyond that, meh.
